I particularly prefer hosting women, as I appreciate knowing that any woman who stays with me has a safe and comfortable place to sleep. Communication matters to me. If you are not genuinely communicating with me, or if our communication consists primarily of one-word replies and only a few sentences, I will cancel the stay. It is nothing personal; however, this is my home, not a hotel, and I believe that welcoming someone into one’s home requires a certain degree of communication and mutual consideration beforehand. If I host you, the only thing I ask in return is that you take a moment to leave a reference describing your experience. I would also like to make one distinction regarding references. Someone who has never met me and has never stayed in my home should not leave a reference on my profile simply because a stay was cancelled several weeks in advance. Equally, if your plans change, I simply expect to be informed. If you are due to arrive and I hear nothing from you, or if you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice after I have made arrangements for your arrival, I would consider it entirely reasonable to leave an honest, negative reference reflecting that experience. I work from 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. I normally leave home at around 7:00 a.m. and return at approximately 4:45 p.m. Quite often, I go directly to the gym after work, in which case I may not be home until around 7:00 p.m. I work a great deal and therefore need to organise my schedule in advance in order to be available to let you into my home. There are occasions when I may come home specifically for that purpose. For this reason, if I have arranged my day around your arrival and subsequently discover that you are in another country or simply no longer intend to come to my home, I believe it is fair to reflect that experience honestly in a reference. If you happen to have an inconveniently timed flight, you are very welcome to rest at home. You are also welcome to use the time to relax or put on a washing machine if you need to. I get up at 6:30 a.m. every morning for work, so I need to be mindful of my sleep and working schedule. I did a 1 year volunteer exchange in Germany, then hitch hiked, mountain climbed, and volunteered my way to India for my next projects. I spent 5 months there doing rainwater harvesting design, solar power systems, grassroots sanitation projects, learning to ride motorcycle (and later got my A class motorcycle license in Germany) and successfully ran an environmental cleanup trekking company and got a job at a climbing gym. I came back to Europe looking for new opportunities for education, work, and volunteering and found a position as the onsite admin at a cool non-profit Scout Camp in Romania where I worked with kids and Gypsies. Then I went to school in Prague and became a certified English Teacher. That kinda sucked, so I went back to IT. So, here I am :D

I love all the adventures and happiness that encounter me in daily life. All the nice people and four-legged-friends inspire me to travel, go out to try new things and take a whole lot of shit more easy. I love to laugh and enjoy time with good minded people, have some deep talks but also just joke around. Eventhough I like to talk about politics they make me really sad. I would say I try to learn more an more to be less harmfull to the world and learn more about the enviourment.
