Living in Normandy, France, I gladly put my 'couch' (in fact a guest room) to use, welcoming and hosting travelers. I've been hosting before signup without having a name for it. Living on this Planet, I also try to explore it and I frequently jump on any opportunity to find myself away and closer to unexpected places and situations and most important of all, closer to extraordinary persons. I also attend CS meetings everywhere I go and I organize myself peaceful CS events for talking.

CURRENT MISSION To enjoy getting to know people I meet as I travel ABOUT ME My family moved to France when I was about 12 years old. After a full career in business, I chose to take early retirement, anticipating a new chapter in my life as I pursue new interests as well as broaden my travel experiences. PHILOSOPHY Every day is a gift. I want to live so that when I go to bed at night, I can sleep in peace with no regrets.

I enjoy traveling in two different ways: - alone, far from everything, in the middle of nature. Sleeping in a tent or a hammock, fasting… walking all day except when I stop to write, swim, admire the scenery, climb... - to meet people and talk, exchange ideas, learn, have fun, open our minds… So Couchsurfing, hostels, hitchhiking… I’m an early bird AND a night owl. So I can enjoy both sunrises and sunrises. So I can bring you breakfast or dance all night long! Or both 🤸 I once tried the “classic life” with a full-time job, but not for me! Now I live with time for myself, for life, for others : friends or not-yet-known... And I switch between different jobs: web developer, actor, filmmaker/videographer, photographer, and sometimes other things when the opportunity arises. I love doing and trying all sorts of sports: badminton, hiking, bouldering, tennis, surfing… and riding with my horses!
