Hello Everybody and welcome to my profile! I am very happy to share couple information about me with you through my profile and hopefully they re going to be the first step for us becoming new friends! As one couchsurfer once told me: “travelers are best versions of themselves” and I completely agree with this statement! In fact what i took from this sentence is importance of the present moment and living your life! So thats what I’m trying to do in my life and not overthink every situation! But lets get to the information about me! To be fair I am pretty extroverted, openminded person who is always down for any kind of adventure and mainly to meet new people! I am pretty much outdoor person who loves all kinds of outdoor sports mainly climbing, trail running, mountain biking and everything connected to adrenaline and nature! Yeah in fact what you could unterstand i hate cities even though at the moment I live in Brno to finish my masters degree at uni. I travelled already 48 countries not mentioning 3 that are not accepted as a country globally! So yeah i ve been around a bit and i met fairly huge amount of good people, experienced many stressful situations not even through traveling, but also in my life, but it would be shame to write here about depressing periods of my life. Now i consider myself as a healthy, self confident person who is always down to talk about anything! If you got to this point with reading, good job! I remember myself not always reading whole profile of my guests or hosts, but yeah, we all learn and i know i wont make this mistake again after few not pleasant expreriences! Hi all!! I´m Lada, 21 year-old student from Brno, Czechia. I love travelling but it´s often hard to harmonize schedules with my friends - so I decided I can as well go on my own and want to explore couchsurfing as a more social and budget friendly option for solo travelers. I have been hosted once already in Edinburgh and had the best experience! (we just booked through my friend´s profile so unfortunately I have no references here yet). Unfortunately, I live with my family so I cannot host at the moment (but once I am sure I will!) As a guest: I am open to spending time together but I am also fine with exploring on my own, whatever works best for you :)) I will definitely bring some Czech snacks as a thank you haha. I´m a very low-maintenance guest, if paying for luggage at planes was not so expensive, I would just bring a tent anywhere ahah. About me: I am naturally more of an introvert but when travelling, that often changes. I just may seem shy to strangers at first. I study and live in the same city I was born in but I’ve done two student exchanges - in England during high school and in Peru last autumn. I´m majoring in internatinal relations. I love pets (we´ve got 2 dogs, 2 guinea pigs and a bunny who is almost 11 years old!), nature (that´s why I am heading to Norway tho it will cost me an arm and a leg) and learning about other cultures (that is why I volunteer with international students at AFS programmes). In my free time, I go to the gym, run, play board games with friends or family, try to play the guitar and read books (sadly barely ever).
