Family guy with a 4 years old living the American suburbs life
Husband to Rebekah. Parent to my two growing boys. I love being outside, music and bikes! I enjoy meeting people and connecting over food or a shared interest.
I'm a French-Cameroonian, an avid hike, football enthusiast, and photographer. I used to travel for work, and now I know what's important is the community we build around us. I'd like to hear your funny and travel stories. There's always something fascinating to learn from each other. I have a minimaIistic lifestyle, and I prioritise experiences over things. Oh, Beers aren't included. I'm very interested in knowing what adventures you've been living and what's next for you. I'm learning how to be flexible in my thoughts. I easily adapt to personalities, but if we're already here, this means we're already thinking alike. I look forward to hosting/meeting you, fellow traveller.
CURRENT MISSION To live life one great memory at a time! ABOUT ME I am so bad about self promotion. I guess I could say that I am probably one of the most honest guys you will ever meet. I am a very "go with the flow" kind of guy. I am all about changing plans at the last minute for the chance to create a new experience. I LOVE meeting diverse people that can create a new spin on how I view the world. PHILOSOPHY WHY NOT???

CURRENT MISSION I'll be in Europe August 2025 - November 2025. Likely heading to the Netherlands, Estonia, (Croatia or Poland), France, (Spain), Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Albania and open to other possibilities along the way. I'll be in SE Asia starting in November - May 2026. ABOUT ME I love the arts, food culture, adventure and travel, and my interests range from painting to fly fishing, cooking to filmmaking. I really enjoy getting to know people and spending time with friends. Lived on the U.S. Northeast for most of my life but have had the good fortune to travel a bit in Europe, Asia and Africa. And I love the West Coast in the U.S.. I have lived and worked as an architect and professional pastry assistant in NY/CA; gone on art residencies in Wyoming, Michigan and Finland; did film projects in Inner Mongolia and Rwanda. I now work remotely as a sustainability consultant (predominantly dealing with LEED and WELL certifications of buildings at the moment) but big changes are in the air - hoping to create work from my passions, which revolve around adding to a growing process, whether it be permaculture, fermentation, plants, animals, etc.
I worked the last decade as a software engineer, got burnt out, and now I'm looking for a new direction. I'm trying to become better traveled while I figure out what's next. Let's hang out, and in exchange for a place to stay, I'll help you with just about anything ya need! Got a little plumbing/electrical/carpentry work to do? Happy to assist. Looking for some dashing new pictures to add to your dating profile? We'll do a photo shoot. Or if nothing's on the agenda, we can just share a few pints and stories. I'm easy-going to a fault, very low maintenance, and open to experience whatever the world has to offer. Here's to making some great memories :)
CURRENT MISSION To trek peacefully on this planet ABOUT ME Building beautiful environments and helping strengthen communities. Written 15 years ago when I lived in Seattle. Now I'm preparing to bring this same mission to the Volta Region in Ghana and am so excited! PHILOSOPHY Change is the only constant. Evolving every day. Also with 15 years ago and still true
Hoping to share positive experiences with everyone! Coming back to the couchsurfing world after some years away. I've hosted tons of people in San Francisco and Denver and made lifelong friends through couchsurfing. I now reside in Durham, NC and absolutely love it and would love to share it with you.
Hi!! We're hitchhiking around the south on a journey to find community and learn about communities and ourselves! We love interesting conversations, nature, spirituality, and celebrating queerness and individuality! :)
I am a PhD student at Duke University, USA working on the effects of air pollution on human health. Originally from India but live in the US now. I love to cook and learn to cook new vegetables, lentils, etc. I have learned to identify a few wild plants and fruits and forage every now and then. I rock climb regularly and have recently taken up drumming and am part of a Brazillian drumming band.
I am a pro wrestler. Iโve wanted to be a pro wrestler since I was a kid, and now here I am living my dream even if itโs on a small scale right now. I am vegan and straight edge (no drugs, smoking, or alcohol). Iโve been vegan for the animals for 17 years. Thatโs over half my life! I love going out to vegan restaurants. I love to travel and unfortunately donโt have the chance to as much as I would like. Iโll eventually go on a big trip out of the country, but for now itโs traveling within the US.
