LIFE: Too many places to go...People to meet ABOUT ME It's a Wonderful World! I am getting a bit old :-), but I still have a passion to travel to unique places, mostly solo. A love to meet new people all my life...adventures..not vacations. I have traveled quite a bit over my life and plan on doing much more. I enjoy the physical (Hike, bike, swim, etc.) but very much enjoy the cultural aspects of an area visiting museums or just unique things to an area..such as "Running with the Bulls" in Pamplona. Also, if time, I enjoy doing volunteer work in the areas I visit. Hope this is enough info to get an idea. My wife, Jan, is not a traveler but recognizes and accepts my passion. July 2017, I AM RETIRED...mostly, SO more time to explore strange new worlds.... :-)

I am back and forth from San Antonio and Phoenix where my other house is located and hosting in both cities. SA is great, especially their homemade flour tortillas and puffy tacos. I love Phoenix weather and nature that it has to offer. It is just not dessert, but an adventure waiting to happen. So much to explore and get lost on an adventure! I LOVE volunteering when I can and help as much as I can for someone. I do not expect anything in return and just helping makes me feel I did something for someone. IG @rmireles123 I prefer last min or a day or two before request. So to know your message is not a copy and paste situation. Write anywhere in your message that TRAVELING IS THE BEST WAY TO MEET LOCALS/FRIENDSHIPS. Also, Feb - Apr we have spring training and great weather which makes Phoenix a busy season. So it’s hard to host sometimes. I will do my best to accommodate you! I am a United States Air Force Veteran and obtained a Bachelors in Public Administration at NAU. Now I am looking for my dream job running a BnB probably somewhere in Europe like Italy in the hills or mountain side with views for days or Ireland with beautiful fields. I am open to other great places! As I travel more and more, I realize I have to be more open minded and experience other culture and what it has to offer, especially the food and try everything once, I am a big foodie and I love my TEX-MEX FOOD. Meeting new people is always fun especially if they live in a different country. It is great having conversations with them and see the difference between the two. If you want to know anything else about me, just ask. A lot of people say I am an open minded/open book guy and I talk about anything and everything. I prefer a few days away or same day request to get a better response back from me because I do not know how my work schedule will look like or if I’m working but I will try my best to host if I can. Spend time with the hosts and exchange culture, ideas, food, experiences, etc. ABOUT ME I am an easy going person who loves travelling and meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures. I not the best person to write about myself but I can say that I am a down-to-earth person who strives to understand people from other cultures and see things from their points of view.
