CURRENT MISSION Get my boat running ABOUT ME I have always had the travel bug, but not the time, means, or guts to do it. In summer of 2006 I finally decided to just get out there and go. I went on a 4 week (or about that) road trip from Saskatoon to Calgary to Vancouver to San Francisco to Los Angeles to San Diego to Las Vegas to Salt Lake City to Great Falls Montana to home. 8000 KM round trip! It was GREAT! On that trip I learned about couchsurfing. The following summer I went to paris for 7 weeks and just hung out taking in the culture and the language. Unfortunately, it was way to easy to speak English in Paris, so my French didn't improve as much as I had hoped it would. But it was a wonderful trip none the less. I met so many awesome CSers and gained a new appreciation for the beauty of such an old city. Since then I've spent summers in a few other places like San Diego and New York. I always look for CSers to hang out with, cuz they are such a great crowd! I also spent 3 months traveling the US by Greyhound before going to Australia for 8 months. I am now settled back home in Saskatoon. Some friends and I are thinking about Europe next summer for a few weeks. PHILOSOPHY I live my life to learn and teach

I can't stop laughing when I'm telling a joke 😂 I like to trust life and be spontaneous. Sometimes I change my plans on the spot when something better could potentially happen. So, I think I'm an easy-going and flexible person. Turning strangers into friends is what I like about Couchsurfing. I've had so many good memories of meeting up, hosting, and staying with the people of this community. If I'm staying at your place, I'll make sure to follow your house rules, help you cook, be respectful and spend time talking to you. If I'm hosting you, I expect you to do all the above, except for cooking (although I'd be thrilled to learn or try a new dish). Also, as a host, I'll make sure you have a comfortable stay.

I’m an easygoing, friendly and open-minded person with a big curiosity about the world. For me, travelling isn’t just about seeing new places—it’s about the people you meet, the stories you share, and the little experiences you remember long after the trip is over. I believe the best part of travelling is the people you meet along the way and the forever lasting memories you made. I love travelling to places I’ve never been, getting lost in new cities, trying local food and hearing people’s stories. Learning about different cultures, exchanging languages, and making new friends along the way. I’d happily spend a day exploring old streets and neighborhoods, admiring the architecture, and the little things that make each place unique. Nature is a big part of what I enjoy—beaches, mountains, forests, scenic views. I like swimming, snorkelling, walking around a new place or relaxing on a beautiful beach or simply sitting somewhere beautiful and enjoying the view. For me, Couchsurfing is much more than finding a place to sleep. I love the idea of meeting someone local, sharing experiences, having a meal or coffee together, exploring a place and hopefully making a genuine new friend. PHILOSOPHY- Life is too short to stay in the same place and only talk to the people you already know. 🙌ONE LIFE, ONE WORLD 🌎
