We are photographers. We're both vegan and are a queer friendly home. We have an 11 year old daughter. She’s very relaxed and a lot of fun, and loves biking and art! We have one cat! Ingram ; My photo career has brought me to many interesting places and people. My life has been shaped by these experiences and the photos I've taken along the way. I now teach photography at the college I studied at. I'm slowly learning French. I feel that as a Canadian, being fluent in only English, I'm missing out on an important part of my culture. My big adventure was living in Los Angeles for a few years, working as a photographer. And then Toronto for a few more. Now I'm back on the east coast. Syd; My entire life I’ve been known as a baker and finally took the plunge in 2019 to open my business. I primarily use a commercial kitchen and wholesale to other businesses but also make delicious cakes and cinnamon buns for private orders. Life has been so full with the business and family and it’s good. Taking this risk has been terrifying but also exciting! If you stay with us, chances are you’ll have some yummy treats. My Interests & Passions I really enjoy taking care of indoor and outdoor plants, as well as animals—especially dogs and cats. I have a passion for home organization, interior decoration, cleanliness, and cooking. I enjoy many types of healthy cooking, but I also love cooking in general. I’m also very hands-on and enjoy painting, fixing things around the house, and learning how to repair electrical or other household problems. I’m naturally curious and love discovering new places, camping, sleeping in forests, and staying close to the sea. I enjoy challenging myself by living with fewer comforts and experiencing simpler, more natural ways of life. I believe that putting yourself in difficult situations can teach you resilience and make everyday life feel easier and more meaningful afterward. Most of all, I love camping, exploring, meeting people from different cultures, and making new friends along the way. More About Me I love running, especially early in the morning. I usually run three to four times a week, and there is something special about running at dawn while watching the sunrise. I also enjoy swimming two to three times a week, cycling, and walking long distances. I love walking because it gives me the chance to explore, observe, and discover places at my own pace. I prefer using a car only when traveling longer distances. One of the things I value most is listening to people and hearing their stories. I enjoy sharing experiences and having honest conversations, whether the stories are happy, difficult, painful, or unexpected. I’m interested in hearing from people of all ages and backgrounds—both younger and older than me. I believe human diversity and the different ways people think, live, and experience life are truly fascinating. Every person has a story, and I believe there is something worth discovering in every story. Countries I’ve Visited I’ve been fortunate to travel to and experience many different countries and cultures, including Canada, Germany, France, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Bulgaria. I’ve also spent time in several countries across the Gulf region, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait, as well as Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Egypt. There are still many places I dream of discovering. Japan, India, Latin America, Morocco, and Spain are among the destinations I haven’t visited yet but hope to explore when the opportunity comes. For me, traveling is not just about visiting places—it’s about experiencing different cultures, meeting people, hearing their stories, and discovering new ways of seeing life.
