We are photographers. We're both vegan and are a queer friendly home. We have an 11 year old daughter. She’s very relaxed and a lot of fun, and loves biking and art! We have one cat! Ingram ; My photo career has brought me to many interesting places and people. My life has been shaped by these experiences and the photos I've taken along the way. I now teach photography at the college I studied at. I'm slowly learning French. I feel that as a Canadian, being fluent in only English, I'm missing out on an important part of my culture. I have a lot of fun with Instagram, you can find me there @ingrambarss. I feel very fortunate to have Nova Scotia as my home. I love it here. My big adventure was living in Los Angeles for a few years, working as a photographer. And then Toronto for a few more. Now I'm back on the east coast. Syd; My entire life I’ve been known as a baker and finally took the plunge in 2019 to open my business. I primarily use a commercial kitchen and wholesale to other businesses but also make delicious cakes and cinnamon buns for private orders. Life has been so full with the business and family and it’s good. Taking this risk has been terrifying but also exciting! If you stay with us, chances are you’ll have some yummy treats. Ingram and Ivy are my heart. My life has taken me to interesting places, but this is exactly where I want to be.
I'm Farideh from Yazd, Iran. Currently studying master of teaching English in Halifax, Canada and working as an English teacher and tourist guide.
Hello my friends ☺️ About Me My name is Arado, I’m 38 years old, Canadian, single, and proudly living in beautiful City in Canada which is Halifax City . I’m a certified, mobile massage therapist and a passionate traveler. I love discovering the world, meeting new people, building friendships, and experiencing different cultures. My travels often bring me opportunities to provide professional massage services to clients wherever I go. I specialize in a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, sports, deep tissue, Shiatsu, and relaxation massage. With many years of experience, I have dedicated a large part of my life to learning, practicing, and developing my skills in massage therapy. My education and training have taken me to different parts of the world. I studied in Ireland, Turkey, and the Gulf region, continued my education in Canada, and I’m still learning and developing my knowledge and techniques every day. For me, massage therapy is more than just a profession—it’s a passion, a journey, and a way to connect with people from different backgrounds while continuing to explore the world. I see the human body differently. Having worked with and cared for thousands of bodies, I have developed a deep appreciation for the body and its needs. I love taking care of the whole body, from head to toe, with attention, respect, and care. My Interests & Passions I really enjoy taking care of indoor and outdoor plants, as well as animals—especially dogs and cats. I have a passion for home organization, interior decoration, cleanliness, and cooking. I enjoy many types of healthy cooking, but I also love cooking in general. I’m also very hands-on and enjoy painting, fixing things around the house, and learning how to repair electrical or other household problems. I’m naturally curious and love discovering new places, camping, sleeping in forests, and staying close to the sea. I enjoy challenging myself by living with fewer comforts and experiencing simpler, more natural ways of life. I believe that putting yourself in difficult situations can teach you resilience and make everyday life feel easier and more meaningful afterward. Most of all, I love camping, exploring, meeting people from different cultures, and making new friends along the way. More About Me I love running, especially early in the morning. I usually run three to four times a week, and there is something special about running at dawn while watching the sunrise. I also enjoy swimming two to three times a week, cycling, and walking long distances. I love walking because it gives me the chance to explore, observe, and discover places at my own pace. I prefer using a car only when traveling longer distances. One of the things I value most is listening to people and hearing their stories. I enjoy sharing experiences and having honest conversations, whether the stories are happy, difficult, painful, or unexpected. I’m interested in hearing from people of all ages and backgrounds—both younger and older than me. I believe human diversity and the different ways people think, live, and experience life are truly fascinating. Every person has a story, and I believe there is something worth discovering in every story. Countries I’ve Visited I’ve been fortunate to travel to and experience many different countries and cultures, including Canada, Germany, France, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Bulgaria. I’ve also spent time in several countries across the Gulf region, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait, as well as Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Egypt. There are still many places I dream of discovering. Japan, India, Latin America, Morocco, and Spain are among the destinations I haven’t visited yet but hope to explore when the opportunity comes. For me, traveling is not just about visiting places—it’s about experiencing different cultures, meeting people, hearing their stories, and discovering new ways of seeing life. Don’t hesitate to reach out and message me. I’m always happy to connect with new people, make friends, and exchange experiences and stories. I’ll leave my Instagram here—feel free to follow or message me. Let’s connect, share our journeys, and learn from each other. 🌍🤝 Insta : arado_massage

Welcome, my friend. Whether you just quit your job, got fired by your boss, or just had the best lobster roll of your life on the side of the road — whether your pockets are full or you’ve got nothing but a few coins — take a deep breath before you arrive. You’re about to ride a journey as unpredictable as rafting the Tara River. I’m John. Not a doctor, not a lawyer. My superpower? Offering you a meal, a hot shower, a place to crash so hard you’ll wake up in another time zone, and a cat who talks more than your Italian grandma (if you’re not allergic). I won’t charge you a cent — but bring your best manners and some basic human decency. Why do I do this? Because I once hitchhiked across Canada in 42 days, from east to west, 5000 kilometers, surviving on nothing but my face, my voice, and the kindness of complete strangers. Now it’s my turn to give back. But before you pack your bags, please read the fine print: • This is a home, not a hotel. Looking for a private room and towels folded like swans? Try asking the student dorms nearby — they might have short-term rentals. • We’ll share a room (don’t get ideas — it’s a floor mat or air mattress). If you snore like a tractor, give me a heads-up. I’ll prep the earplugs — you should too. • I have a cat. Super cute. Super judgey. If she doesn’t like you, I probably won’t either. And if you’re allergic, it’s best you skip this place altogether. Most importantly: If you have other options, please leave this spot for someone who truly needs it. But if you’re stuck, down and dirty, I’ll be here with a hand to pull you back up. I may not join you for drinks, but food, a shower, and a place to rest — those three things I’ve got covered, no question. — Your host, John (Can’t cut hair, but knows how to use a washing machine)
A friendly, kinda geeky guy who loves the outdoors thanks to a healthy dose of Welsh countryside as a kid. I live in Halifax Nova Scotia, and have travelled to Nepal, Japan, North America and Georgia and I am passionate about adventure! I make video games and board games for a living and love partner acrobatics! Married to a delightful Canadian lass from Nova Scotia ♥️ and currently practicing ENM!
I am a kind hearted energetic individual who is always down for a good time and to meet interesting people. I value deep connections and sharing esoteric knowledge. Tell me all about your life’s journey and all the great experiences you’ve had (I’ve got some stories to share as well)
I'm outgoing, open minded, and very sociable. I have a degree in Psychology from McGill University but don't work in the field. Instead, I started a web design and digital marketing company. I volunteered as an Ambulance technician in three countries and worked in the Emergency Department for six years. I love pets and have three cats right now. I love nature and a good camping trip but am a city guy who can go out at night as well. I am also interest in cooking, travelling, politics, culture, and skiing. Please take the time to read my profile before sending me a request. I don't respond to copy paste messages. I'm allergic to certain nuts (hazelnuts, macadamia and walnuts but NOT almonds, pistachios or peanuts) but don't worry I am not that sensitive. I have to actually eat them to get a reaction.

There's my intro in Chinese below 下有中文“太长不看版”自我介绍 ***About Me*** I'm Canadian by nationality, Chinese by birth, and Malaysian by family root. Having been in Canada for 15+ years, I love being Canadian but I’m more proud to be a global citizen. I use English and Mandarin as a native speaker, I can communicate in Hokkien/Taiwanese due to my Malaysian/Fujianese root, et je parle français pour bien cuisiner - parce que j'habitais à Montréal et j’adore cette ville. I cook well, I travel light, and I like unique experiences. Known to be foodie, curious, geeky, musical, quirky, entrepreneurial, and technically minded, I enjoy serving and helping people, and I prefer being kind over being nice. I've been a couchsurfing ambassador since September 2019, active event organizer, and very active in global couchsurfing community. You can learn more about the ambassador program here: https://www.couchsurfing.com/about/ambassadors/ Couchsurfing is an important part of my life. I host, I organize events, and I also travel and stay with other Couchsurfing hosts. Read the references on my profile to find out more. Especially if you're new to couchsurfing, please read my profile, read the references. In my opinion, the profile page is a couchsurfer's identity, and the references on that profile speaks to the person's character. I like to host unique people, co-organize some events, and stay with like-minded hosts. I love participating in Couch crashes around the world. Professionally, I’m a biomedical engineer and have worked in the biomedical industry for nearly 10 years, I love what I do to improve people’s quality of life, and I really enjoy the perks of traveling for work. Having been a solo traveler for 10+ years, I explore new places without much planned. My goal is to spend more time with myself, meeting people, listening to people, and building meaningful connections with others. The key word on Couchsurfing is "people". In addition to all the blah blah above, I am a competitive Rubik's cuber: https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/persons/2017CHEY27 My record to solve a 3*3*3 cube is 36 seconds, I cook and bake, I love photography and movie critics, and I like to debate about science and politics, find out more in the "Teach, Learn, Share" section of my profile. ***For Guests*** If possible, please read "My Home" section for the details of my couch. I own 2 homes, an apartment in Burnaby BC, and a detached house in Halifax Canada. Please read "My Home" for more details -I only host one group each time. Guests get a spare bedroom. The couch in the living room would allow one more person. -Full kitchen: feel free to use it as long as you clean up afterward; -Hot shower, I can provide towels; -Please send an official request, not messages. -If my hosting calendar is blocked for the time you're requesting, I'm hosting someone else or not in town; -Once I accept your request, please CONFIRM your stay ASAP with your estimated time of arrival. Then I will send you my address. -I will check your reference, especially if there's negative reference, and I will make decision accordingly on whether to host you. I have zero tolerance for sexual assault, harassment, bigotry of any kind. -Couchsurfing is about building genuine relationships, and it would be impossible to connect with you if you're staying for that short amount of time, I generally don't host anyone who only stay for less than 24h. Staying between 3 and 5 nights are the most comfortable for me to host. Now ready to send request? Call me "UG" in your request, that's also how to pronounce my name. I will decline your couch request if you do not mention "UG" in your request. ***自我介绍之太长不看版 *** (Google translator won't work cuz some sentences are in ancient Chinese language) 鄙姓程,名友佶,字子健,号棲冷,出身落敗世家,客異鄉多年,而今心安處乃故鄉也。

I believe that everyone was put on this planet for a purpose. I don’t know mine yet but that’s why I’m here to explore the world and find it. I was online coaching then I went to Peru and lived with a shapibo shaman for 30 days, I drank plant medicine , when I returned home, I went back to lobster fishing, what I’ve done for the last few years, I finished the season, in the end I realized that career doesn’t fulfill me so now I’m on a journey to discover what does why god/the creator put me here, how I can help people and the world. I'm huge on personal growth, I’ve been boxing for about 7 years, and spirituality lives in my heart mind body and soul. If you wanna see what im about look at my instagram or we can get on a call, whatever opportunities I'm given on here it’s by the grace of god and im extremely grateful looking forward to connecting IG- Shane_meditates
