Update August 2026 We continue our journey trough Asian countries, will be back to Armenia during 2027 Summer Update May 2026 Currently we settled in Nepal for 2 months. We rented a room in Dhampus, near Pokhara and have 1 extra bed in our room which we can share with solo couchsurfer. Update Nov 2025. I have already quit my job and started a 1–2 year journey with my husband through Asia, our first stop is India and we plan to spend 4–5 months here. I work as a Project Manager in an international IT company, and I am responsible for overseeing our company's regional branches in Armenia. In other words, I spend most of my time on the road. After living in Yerevan City for 10 years, I made the decision to move to the region and settle in one of the most beautiful places in Armenia—Dilijan. Dilijan, often referred to as the "small Switzerland" of Armenia, is stunning in every season of the year. My husband and I share a passion for travel, hiking, and all activities connected to nature. Recently, we made the exciting decision to embark on a worldwide journey that will last 2-3 years. Currently, we are in the planning stages to prepare for this adventure.
I graduated from university as a film director and the first thing I learned was that "Directing is not a profession it's a lifestyle" and since then I'm trying to live a life like it's a movie. And as a part of that me and my wife decided to have a long last adventure through Asia. We rent out our flat in Armenia and start a journey where we hope to find new friends around all over the world, to explore diverse cultures and nature beauties. We are planning to do some volunteering in the places we are visiting as well as doing Couchsurfing to have as much communication with locals as possible, because only that way it will be possible to understand the culture and to feel a bit the real life of the country, city or village we are going to visit. While my professional life for the last 10 years revolves around software engineering, my interests and true passions include hiking, traveling, photography, and the art of movie-making. Couple of years ago I started learning Spanish and started to feel regret why I didn't do it earlier, and decided for me not to stop learning languages never. I like learning new things in all spheres from biology and phisics to languages and religions. I didn't study well during my school years, so the world is full of wonders for me and I'm happy that I am discovering the world consciously and not by demand. Since 2023 I reside in Dilijan city, considered one of the most beautiful places in Armenia, along with my wife and will be happy to host more people when we come back from our trip.
