🌌 Humble nomad artist, hitchhiker, polyglot, recently also street dancer Now bringing warm energy in southeast Kazakhstan without plans Last year in warm winter i was doing hippie life on Hormoz island in Iran. Including being a street performer in the Valley of the Statues, overlooking the nowadays famous Strait of Hormuz 🚢 هیچ جا مثل هرمز نابو While flowing there I was going from Algeria to Armenia to Afghanistan on land and sea. Just before that (january 2024) i was between Portugal, Egypt, the Caucasus, Persia, Mesopotamia and especially Anatolia for 3 years totally 🌄 volunteering in hostels, being part of conscious communities and art spaces, backpacking Just volunteered and walked on Malaysian mountains and Brunei for 2 months, plus 5 months doing simple life with many more likeminded nomads in west Thailand and northwest Malaysia I speak intermediate turkish, french, spanish, still beginner at Farsi and Arabic, while i can teach english and italian. Long long time with russian speaking hitchhikers, time to learn Russian! Would you teach me another language, that'll be the ninth to learn. Deep inside i feel much more west-asian than western-european and most people i talk to say so as well. The nomad travelers from the region have inspired me and changed me while living in Istanbul. Since the end of pandemic I've witnessed overtourism around me and i feel so lucky to have started when very few travelers were around, loooots of consideration for us. Luckily, i don't carry dark, heavy vibes from big city life, my natural attitude is soft and non-hierarchic. This helped hundreds of souls feel safe and welcomed around me. Family connectionnnnn 🏕️ How to bring Couchsurfing authentic vibes back *a little bit*? Perhaps you can start by not using AI to write your descriptions, messages, references Trying to help everyone out there. Refugees, tourists, expats, pachamama, the nature We all need help. We are one See u in 5

My name is Nickolai Leschov, I'm from Saint-Petersburg, Russia, originally. I chose the recent war as an invitation to raise my indignant disagreement with what my government said my long-suffering homeland should stand for (war, violence and religious obscurantism, apparently) and join the global community that I always felt a part of. Is it still illegal to call war a war there? I don't know or care. I lived in several countries since and hope to live in some more. I am interested in computers, human perception and cognition, and their intersection and impact. I am living with my girlfriend, Malvina Pushkova, who is a long-time transhumanist activist, a workaholic and transgender woman (LGBT person and activist, but not an LGBT activist). Some of it should not be that important, but it is part of the reason we left our home country, so it kinda is. I generally subscribe to ideas of transhumanism, a philosophical and intellectual movement which advocates the enhancement of the human condition by developing and making widely available sophisticated technologies that greatly enhance longevity, cognition, and well-being; eliminating the undesirable aspects of human existence such as suffering, disease, aging and death. In my own words, transhumanism is humanism, radically enhanced.

Hey everyone! We’re Alexey and Elena. Originally from Moscow, but after a series of unfortunate events back home, we moved to sunny Kutaisi, Georgia. We discovered Couchsurfing back in Russia, and here in Georgia our passion for hospitality eventually turned into a full-time job. Today we run a backpacker-friendly hostel and camping space for hikers, adventurers, and travelers from all over the world. At first, we weren't sure if staying active in the Couchsurfing community would create a conflict of interest with our business. But we believe in win-win relationships, where people can help each other without losing anything. Over the years, some Couchsurfers have volunteered a bit around the hostel, one amazing guy helped us a lot with renovations (huge shoutout to you, bro!), others shared ideas, gave valuable feedback, helped promote us online, or simply left kind reviews and recommended us to friends. So we're always open to new ideas and collaborations. If you think you have something to contribute, let's talk! For Couchsurfers, we currently offer one free night in a shared dorm or a free tent spot in our campground. If you enjoy your stay and decide to stay longer, you're welcome to do so at a special discounted rate available only for Couchsurfers. We should mention that running a hostel keeps us pretty busy, so we can't always spend as much personal time with guests as we'd like. That said, if you're into board games, sharing a bottle of wine, swapping travel stories, or just hanging out for an hour or two in the evening, let us know — we're always happy to connect! Basically, you can stay with us both as a Couchsurfer and as a regular hostel guest (depending on availability and with a few limitations mentioned above). Come visit us — our doors are always open! P.S. If I don't reply here, chances are I simply haven't opened the app. Feel free to message us on Telegram: @thefriendshostel P.S.2 We actually sleep at night 😄 and there's nobody available to check guests in. We're open from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. If you're arriving late due to an emergency or unusual circumstances, please let us know in advance!

Please read it carefully because I don't like to say No, Finally! It's time to say goodbye to couch surfing and don't know when I will back again and all this years I hosted people was great experience and 96% was satisfying and but still it's hurt that when you help people by providing some roof spac and share a plate of food with them but still you getting ignore by them. So I'm done right now and learned my own lesson. But still I'm proud of myself that I did my best
