About Me I split my time between a farm in Çatalca (Thrace, about an hour west of Istanbul) and a machine factory in Çerkezköy, where I handle industrial automation — the kind of work where you make servo motors and conveyors talk to each other. Outside of that I'm a builder by instinct: 3D printing, CNC, DIY loudspeakers and DSP, small solar and irrigation systems on the farm. If something can be measured, tuned, or taken apart, I'm probably already doing it. Why I'm on Couchsurfing Because the best conversations I've had came from people who do completely different things than I do. I'd rather host someone over a long dinner and hear how they ended up here than exchange ten polite messages. Interests Audio and acoustics (I design and build speakers), DJing, electronics and embedded stuff, filmmaking with whatever camera is in my hand, driving, off-road, farming and anything that grows. Music, Movies, Books Melodic techno, Turkish arabesque and folk, anything with a strong low end. I DJ, so music is less a hobby than a running background process. One Amazing Thing I've Done Designed and built a full loudspeaker system from raw drivers up — cabinets cut on a CNC, crossovers measured and tuned by hand, off-grid solar power. It plays now, and it's louder than it should be. Teach, Learn, Share I can teach you how a speaker actually works, how to read a frequency response curve, or how to keep a farm irrigated on sunlight alone. I want to learn how things are done where you come from — food, work, music, all of it. What I Can Share With Hosts Turkish home cooking, a tour of parts of Thrace no guidebook mentions, good coffee, and a genuinely quiet night's sleep.
