Hello there! I'm Nathan, from South-Eastern France, back on couchsurfing after a few years of not using it! I now also go by the name of Ambel, and use both alternatively. Yours to decide! In 2019 I decided to try to be full-time nomadic. I travelled ten months across the UK, then about two years around France and neighbouring countries, always hitchhiking, camping and volunteering around! Since September 2022 I've been heading east for what looks more and more like a looong tour hitchhiking..we'll see how far I can go! I'm a calm, quiet and easy-going person. I like listening to music, writing, playing the guitar, the drums or other instruments that I don't play, hiking, climbing, swimming, surfing, amongst many other things! That being said, see you somewhere ! Only mountains never meet 🏔
Single guy with a nice unit in Kings Meadows I enjoy the outdoors, walking , etc.
CURRENT MISSION To explore ABOUT ME I'm an easy going bloke who just likes to get out there and have some fun, love getting away and exploring the outdoors. PHILOSOPHY I do not regret the things I've done, but those I did not do.

Elle. Love traveling. My profile has barely been updated over the past decade of being on this site haha. I just change my age and the hobbies a little from time to time! Ultimately found out that every moment should be appreciated. I like saying 'yes' to as many opportunities as possible throughout my day. My most recent long-term travel was spending a year in Lucknow, India to work for social enterprise Pollinate Energy. Currently back in Australia and am keen to meet up with travellers and locals. I'm a fan of yoga, music (from instrumental hip-hop and funk to house to Hindi music), learning language, sustainability and resilience, travel, reading and socialising. To say I love languages would probably be a massive understatement. Although I can only really speak German and a little Hindi and English, loads other languages and cultures fascinate me. Keen to meet up to practice!
An artist travelling Europe, excited to read and look at all the amazing art each place has to offer. Particularly looking for spaces run by artists, for artists. ✨
Not long now before we head off on our own world trip so have started packing up our house in Launceston. Unfortunately this means we won’t be able to host anymore guests before we leave. However, if you have any questions we are happy to share some local knowledge. I am originally from Queensland and my partner Magnus is from Tasmania, Australia. We spent most of 2024 traveling around Australia in our Suburu Outback with our rooftop tent and are now in the midst of planning our next big adventure, a multi-year 6 continent trip around the world. We love to travel and meet people from different parts of the world, sharing food and culture. When we are at home we enjoy quite nights in and exploring on the weekend, scenic drives and hiking. We will be departing Tasmania on our worldwide trip at the start of 2027. During our first year we plan to visit: Indonesia (Bali) Singapore Malaysia South Korea Japan Finland Sweden Norway Denmark Scotland (including Shetland islands) Ireland Northern Ireland England Iceland (hopefully…) Netherlands Belgium France Italy Greece Albania Montenegro
CURRENT MISSION Change the World ABOUT ME I love my family, my friends, my city and my church. I'm an active guy who likes to jog or gym, but I'm also pretty good at drinking coffee or the alcoholic beverage of your choice. PHILOSOPHY Take in the small things. Live simply. Love.
Born in New Zealand now living in Australia. Enjoys learning about different cultures and meeting new people
Third year psychology at uni, love to travel when I’m not out rowing or cycling. Former semipro cyclist, used to row elite level too. Now a full-time nerd. I still love to get out for a hike when life allows it. I do a bit of wilderness guiding too! I’m looking forwarding to traveling Australia once I finish my studies and then exploring Europe before settling down somewhere for the longer term xx
CURRENT MISSION Trying to help steer launceston into being a cultural, travel, alternate, cool place. ABOUT ME Used to live abroad but have had to make a go of life in my home state since covid.
REFUGEES WELCOME! REQUESTS: IF YOU WANT TO STAY WITH ME, SEND A 'REQUEST' NOT A MESSAGE. IF YOU CANT SEND A REQUEST BECAUSE MY CALENDAR IS BLOCKED OUT, THAT MEANS IM NOT AVAILABLE TO HOST. Alot of people like to think my name is "Helen/Hellen/Allen", but nah it's Ellen. I'll spare the "I like to travel" monologue. Brief summary: I've been to a few places, and I want to go to more. I would say I'm a pretty fair guest and an honest host :} I'm a professional crazy lady: I try to live my life fun and fancy free and without shame. Laughter is my favorite bodily function, even if it hurts my face and belly sometimes. I can laugh at almost anything actually. I lived in Spain for almost 2 years as an English language assistant and then 3 years in Germany as an English teacher. Now I'm hopping around Australia doing a working holiday and riding the rainbow train
