CURRENT MISSION Luego de un largo viaje por el sur, volví a Colombia lugar que considero mi segunda casa. Son bienvenidos en mi hogar, con lo que pueda ayudarles lo haré. ABOUT ME Persona abierta con ganas de conocer diversas culturas. Conversadora, respetuosa con el medio ambiente, disfruto degustar de todas las comidas posibles, y amo pintar. De Mérida, Venezuela,viviendo en Guatapé, Colombia. Antes fui profesora académica en la ULA, ejercía la radio, dicté conferencias, fundé una starUp de de viajes; ahora voy modo freelancer . ​¡Hola! Soy Niver, un artista visual colombiano nacido entre las montañas de Rionegro, Antioquia. Mi viaje comenzó de forma autodidacta en el campo y hoy me apasiona la pintura expandida y experimental: creo obras que reaccionan y cambian con la luz, la temperatura y la humedad del ambiente. ​Me encanta viajar, conectar con la cultura local de cada lugar que visito y compartir historias. En los últimos años mi trabajo me ha llevado a mostrar mi arte en Colombia y Europa (desde exponer en el Carrousel du Louvre en París hasta recibir el premio «Arte Crítico» en Perugia, Italia, o impulsar la I Bienal Internacional de Arte de Rionegro). ​Más allá del taller y las exposiciones, disfruto de una buena conversación, cocinar, aprender de la gente local y explorar la naturaleza. Creo que tanto el arte como los viajes tratan de lo mismo: transformar la manera en que percibimos el mundo. ​Hi! I’m Niver, a Colombian visual artist born in the mountains of Rionegro, Antioquia. In recent years, my art has taken me across Colombia and Europe (from exhibiting at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris to receiving the "Arte Crítico" award in Perugia, Italy, and launching the I International Art Biennale of Rionegro). ​Beyond the studio, I enjoy good conversations, cooking, learning from locals, and exploring nature. To me, both art and travel are about the same thing: changing how we perceive the world.
