*currently in Paris* ๐New here on Couchsurfing and this is my first trip in Europe!!! Iโm French Canadian (living in US) and have been traveling in my self-built van for seven years in the US, Mexico and Canada. Iโm excited to explore a new way to travel (with just a backpack), meeting locals and be immersed in your culture! I love adventures and looking forward to discovering the old continent! I love to laugh, be outdoors, connect with nature, play, challenge myself, cook or eat healthy foods and have engaging conversations. Iโd love to go climbing, highlining, surfing, kiteboarding,โฆ connect through acro, dance, circus and conscious communities. I am a somatic intimacy and relating coach so I appreciate depth and authentic expression. I have roots from Normandy in my family line and I look forward to explore this part of France too on my trip.
Hello! I'm a music teacher, singer-songwriter, and do gardening/yard work in Boulder, CO. I like practicing meditation and studying Tibetan Buddhism. I give private guitar and ukulele lessons. I enjoy meeting new people. I am considerate, easy going, tidy, and respectful. I've also been involved with environmental activism over the years. I'm half-Mexican and have been studying Spanish.
I am a retired professor, who has worked at the National University of Singapore as well as the Colorado School of Mines. My area work has been in the broad social sciences, particularly on ethnic relations and economic development. I and my wife enjoy traveling. We want to see and learn as much as possible as long as we are able. Part of my motivation for travel is to do photography and meet interesting people.

Taking a gap year after graduating and bikepacking across Europe this fall. I spend most of my time climbing and have been for most of my life. I also love to spend time with my friends and meet new people. I love to learn new things and to learn from people who know much more than me.
CURRENT MISSION Experience all that I can. ABOUT ME Open-minded, outgoing introvert, spontaneous traveler I was raised in a rural Oklahoma town, where few escape the cycle of smalltown life. I escaped the cycle. I have a passion for long-term travel, non-conventional living, and the outdoors. My most recent adventure has been thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail, 2,190 miles from Georgia to Maine. I am unconventional and non-normative, I appreciate anything outside of the box. I am independent and outgoing. My friends describe me as an outgoing introvert. In my travels, I prefer discovering the places I visit through the locals. Tourist spots are generally overrated. In a CS experience, I just want to meet good people and share stories. PHILOSOPHY Our endless days are numbered. We have so many opportunities to make memories, enjoy life, explore, learn, and just love, but if we do not seize moments, how can we accomplish this? I believe everyone should take a stand, make an effort to be bold, try new things, for the sake of making the most out of life, while we can live it to the fullest!
Hi! Weโre Ari and Turner, a couple from Boise, Idaho, currently traveling the world with backpacks and our bicycles. We love meeting locals, sharing stories, and experiencing places beyond the typical tourist path. As we cycle, weโre hoping to connect with hosts along our route. Weโre respectful, easygoing, happy to help around the house, and always enjoy cooking a meal or exchanging travel experiences. Looking forward to meeting you!
CURRENT MISSION To bring together that which is divided. ABOUT ME I'm a kid at heart, in an older body; a born storyteller, a lover of both solitude and the social world, a FT traveler in the world since late 2021. Play and laughter are essential for the soul. I love engaged conversations and coming to understand what makes others tick. I dream of learning to make documentary films and getting serious about writing in part for a living. Learning the import/export trade interests me a great deal as well. And I'm launching a blog. Importantly, for my health I have to steer clear of perfume, cologne, incense, smoke, heavy pet odors, and strong personal care products. So please take that into account if I have asked about being hosted in your home. I would never take it personally if someone just needs to refuse hosting me because of this. PHILOSOPHY It's a short life, so why not sing on the journey? One day many, many years ago it occurred to me that we can all conjure up some kind of evidence to support virtually any belief imaginable, so why not work on choosing beliefs that support Life and risk making the world a better place? That of course, is a work in progress for me, only over when my powdered bones drift in the wind over an ocean or mountaintop one day. I look forward to meeting you.
Iโm a travel nurse that is searching for a place to stay until the assignment is done.
CURRENT MISSION After 10 years of nomadic life, I'm stepping out of my backpacker confort zone and opening a new chapter : settling down in Colorado! ABOUT ME I'm very sociable. I love meeting new people and I'm able to speak with someone that I just met like if we knew each other for long time. I'm a dancer so I love music. I love going out, having fun but also share rare moment and speak all night about our crazy world and what we can do to make it better. PHILOSOPHY A problem is a problem only in the way you look at it. In reality it's just a fact, we create the problem. Same with happiness, the happiness comes from the way we look at our life, no from material and gadget. When you get that you're happy most of the time :)
**I am traveling and do not currently have the ability to host.** I'm an itinerant wanderer who works for an experiential education company, sometimes in Boulder, Colorado, and sometimes in India or different countries across the African continent. I enjoy sharing stories over cups and cups of tea, or covering long expanses of wild terrain on foot with a backpack. I have a big sweet tooth. I love exploring local markets and making stuff out of beautiful fabric. I have a side hustle taking photographs of fashionable goats.
CURRENT MISSION I like simple---Kind of... ABOUT ME Please note that my house is about 35 minutes from downtown Denver, and about 30 minutes from Boulder. Father, adventurer, business owner. I love being outside and experiencing challenges. I enjoy social interaction with people that engage in stimulating conversation. I like to consider myself light hearted and fun. PHILOSOPHY Living my life with the hope of learning as much as possible from those around me. I enjoy debate, and the opportunity to hear others' opinions succinctly and passionately.
