CURRENT MISSION We love to meet new people, share food and stories. We aim to broaden our family's experience by travelling, adventuring together, and spending time with lots of interesting people. ABOUT ME We are a family of six. abi is a potter and Chris is an urban planner. We have four children aged 17, 15, 13 and 11. We have a cat. We also have, at various times, bees, chickens, turkeys and quail and pigs. We don't smoke. When at home, we both love to cook, to build and fix things, to grow our own food, and to spend time outdoors. Chris is also a volunteer firefighter. When out and about, we cycle and walk to explore our neighbourhood and city, and whenever possible we venture further afield. Recent trips have been to Scotland, Cuba, North Carolina, Nova Scotia, and New England. We love canoe and road tripping, potlucking, thrift store shopping, agriculture, and learning new things. PHILOSOPHY Treat other people the way you want to be treated. Leave it better than you found it. Learn stories. Listen. Tell stories. Customize.
CURRENT MISSION Life is about courage and going into the unknown. One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things. ABOUT ME I love life and laughter... My passion, my true desire to be fulfilled in this life is to travel and learn. It's My Rushmore!! The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page' ~ "Saint Augustine". PHILOSOPHY Be happy! Allow yourself to learn something new everyday. Every path is the right path. Everything could've been anything else. And, it would have just as much meaning.

I may not have an outstanding personality, possibly due to the environment I live in, but I am eager to explore the fun side of myself by meeting new people and getting to know them better. Through my travels and connections with people, I have learned that true happiness is not solely dependent on what we have experienced, but it is also found in the pursuit of the process. Join me on this journey and let's discover what life has to offer! PHILOSOPHY They say that a kind word can make all the difference in the world, and that is a philosophy that I live by. At the end of the day, I believe that it's important to treat others with kindness and respect and to avoid actions or words that could cause harm. As the proverb goes, "treat others as you would like to be treated". I strive to make a positive impact on those around me , but most importantly trying to define the SELF as I walk through life. And MAYBE make a little difference in the world....

I have just begun traveling, before this I spent most of my time in school and playing hockey back home in Canada. Now I am ready to see the world and to help anyone who is visiting Canada experience my home town.
