CURRENT MISSION To grow myself, and grow my community by giving back to it. ABOUT ME I grew up in a rural community outside of Victoria, BC. I have a huge passion for new experiences, becoming involved and integrated into new cultures, and living life! I am a bicycle frame builder, and work during the day as a welder/fabricator. I speak English, poor French, and some Spanish. PHILOSOPHY I feel that we can watch and learn from our mistakes, and grow through having fun and pushing through our boundaries.

Live on a boat in Nanaimo BC, My boys come and go from their work, adventures and travels, I've traveled a lot with work but tend to stick to Vancouver Island Island living on my boat and exploring the coast as well as the Vancouver Island Alps these days.

CURRENT MISSION Try to become a better person everyday. ABOUT ME I live in Nanaimo right now. I'm very easy going and like to meet people from everywhere. I can hold conversations with people from every walk of life and thrive on it. My girlfriend is very friendly too. With enough notice I may be able to cook a nice meal. I have a small garden and a big bookshelf. I don't really like trying to describe myself in one paragraph so that's all I will say. PHILOSOPHY I don't really know.

2026: still active! I have been mostly hosting the last few years but this summer I travelled to Europe and got to be a couchsurfer again. I have met many very nice people through this network. I am a super rad young lady, 30 years old and I reside on the unceded territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation in Nanaimo while I'm studying at VIU.

I am passionate about people and community. I love helping people learn and grow, and think that there's nothing greater than seeing someone realise their full potential! I have a big space in my heart for the environment and nature: A cool mountain breeze, the smell of the ocean, dirt on my fingers, warm sunshine, the sound of rain on a tent...these are the things that make me happy. I can be a bit of a hippie sometimes, as I am conscious of reducing my waste, buying local and ethical, and I try to use the most natural products and food available. I love long journeys, and when I'm not on one or at least have one planned, I get antsy and anxious. I love yoga, hiking, road trips, thunderstorms, and singing songs around campfires. I'd like to think I'm a pretty good cook, and that I am a very good judge of character. On any normal day you'd probably find me at yoga or riding my bike, always outdoors and never without a camera (usually film), or in a cute local cafe, reading and writing and having long conversations with random strangers. You'll find I'm a simple person who enjoys the little things in life, and all I really want to do is make a difference-big or small-in yours. Nice to meet you.
