JULY 2018- I am so sorry to have to select NOT Accepting Guests, but I am going out of town for a month. I have absolutely LOVED hosting travelers and have met the most incredible people, and I look forward to meeting more of you in the fall once I'm back! have fun everyone...be safe. SEPT 2018--I have returned after traveling this summer but now have a couchsurfer who ended up staying and is now a roommate... which is good because she is adorable but bad because the room she is in was my guest room for couchsurfers!! I will be able to occasionally take in one or maybe 2 people if they can literally sleep on the couch or on a foamy on the floor. I will be curtailing my hosting a lot as I had people here almost daily for the last 3 months and many times we had 3 or 4 or 5 people at one time and it got pretty hectic around here! I met the most incredible and interesting travelers and really enjoyed every single one, but I need to take a bit of a break and clean up and recoup! So, you can try me but the chances are not great that I will have room for the next few months. I hope you are all safe and enjoying the Yukon! I love to travel, meet people, eat all foods, drink good wine and beer, good coffee and herbal tea! I love to dance and have fun! I love to read. I love yoga and fitness classes and walking and occasionally, running! I mostly run for a T-shirt in an interesting place/race! I Love to help people. I love babies and children and old people and mostly all people if they are nice, kind, compassionate, honest, caring, giving and fun! I love to host people and show them my beautiful part of the world.

Hi everyone, Thanks for reading my profile. Like most of you here I love travelling and meeting people from around the world with a sense of adventure! I've been a part of the CS community for a long time. Some amazing experiences and generous people along the way. It is important to remind ourselves that CS is not like a free stay or a hotel or Air BnB... you do it to meet people and have authentic experiences, and yes also save money of course. Remember to be nice to your hosts that let you in their house, show them you care, write a nice request... these are important details. I like to think I'm very easy going, friendly and helpful, and have incredibly high tolerance for nonsense. I have lots of interests - travel, playing music, cooking, outdoors, farming, building things, learning languages, photography, reading history, blah blah... so we'll get along easily. If you are a social progressive, liberal minded, gay friendly, open to new ideas, and pushing your comfort zone, you get fifty bonus points. SOCIAL MEDIA Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/once.upon.a.wander/ CYCLE TOURING In the last 3 years I've biked 15,000km around the world. On a quest to cycle more - it's such a relaxed way of seeing villages and cities. I also use the Warm Showers platform a lot (it's like CS for cyclists). Current trip: Cycling from Helsinki to Vienna. 🌈 🚴 🌱
