I'm a proud prairie gal from Winnipeg currently living in Chicoutimi, Quebec and these days I'm most keen on slow travel around Canada. I teach English at a college - a calling I discovered and fell in love with through travelling and making new friends and seeing their faces light up when I was able to share new English expressions and what not. I love teaching people how to express themselves in new ways and I love how I learn so much from my students in return, it's really enriching. I prefer rural life but then I'm always floored and fascinated by the energy of big cities. I'll always seek out the green space and the 'street food' in the concrete jungle (aka picnic!) and I love a good, long urban hike. I feel most alive when I'm living out of my tent and/or car and when I feel the elements on my skin - cold fresh lake water, -40 prairie windchill, spring sunshine. Camping and biking are my favourite activities and in the future I hope to do more bike travel. I'm curious and open, I cherish interactions with strangers and I'll try to make conversation with anybody. I love how 1-2 weeks in travel friendship is equal to about 6-12 months of 'normal' friendship.

Jeune de 32 ans, introverti et actuellement avec un genou en cours de rรฉparation.... De mon cรดtรฉ, je suis peine de vie, j'aime tout particuliรจrement les sport de plein air, rencontrer de nouvelles personnes et de nouveaux endroits. I'm a Quebecer, born and raise in Saguenay, Quรฉbec (the francophone province of Canada). I completed an engineering degree, I have worked for a member of Parliament of Canada as a legislatif assistant and I have been a coach for amazing young persons in a student union for some time; helping them achieving goals for the students while learning to work as a team in a world of individualism. Now, I am pretty much involved in a non-profit danse school and help my family in different project when I am not travelling the world. I traveled on a worldwide trip for a year in 2017 in order to learn as more as possible about different country's history, culture and particularly their political system and environment.
