ABOUT ME Animal loving, adventurous, keen traveller. PHILOSOPHY Trying to be a little less job focused, more light hearted!
Having lived in South Korea and hosted over 600 surfers for13 years, I have now returned to live in Rotorua, NZ (early 2020). I'm about 10 mins by car out of the city. I will do my best to pick u up (usually from the I-site in town.) I generally don't host day before or same day requests as I often don't see them and need time to organise my busy life. I also generally don't host in the weekend - but feel free to send a request on the off chance I can... CURRENT MISSION To live and be happy... To share my life and to listen to others stories... To help people less fortunate and animals... To try and look after the environment in small ways if possible... ABOUT ME Love life. Active. Enjoy people. Love traveling. Into all kinds of music, movies, books, interesting activities... Happy to spend some time helping u out but not likely I can show u around much these days... I tend to crash earlyish and rise earlyish too... Teaching always keep me busy and a little tired but if I host you I will always make time for you... PHILOSOPHY I live to live- not to work (but work hard too). Great company is one of the finest things in life... Everything in Moderation, especially Moderation!
I’m a Rotorua local and love being a tourist in my own back yard. I love travelling and exploring and enjoy sharing some of the amazing locations that my local region has to offer
My teacher once told me that life is like a book - it’s boring without the ups and downs. If that’s true, my life has been a bestseller, packed with more plot twists than a soap opera! 😄 After quite a few chapters of high highs and low lows, I’ve stopped chasing the peaks of happiness to avoid the valleys of sadness. These days, the focus has shifted entirely toward inner peace. I’m currently a full-time student in the art of mindfulness and attaining higher emotional intelligence. It turns out that practicing self-love and self-care is a much deeper challenge than any of my previous careers, and I’m still very much a work-in-progress! I’ve learned to appreciate the calm moments and the simple, honest stories that come with a life well-lived.

I'm a 37 year old New Zealander living at Lake Ōkāreka in Rotorua. I lived in the UK for a few years and travelled a lot through Europe, Middle East, and North Africa. Now that I'm back home I travel to South East Asia, Japan and Australia. I'm a mountain biker, so if you've come to Rotorua for the biking, I can show you around the forest. I frequently travel around New Zealand and overseas so can provide a lot of recommendations.
Hi! Dante here, originally from Argentina and currently based in Dubai. I work as cabin crew, so traveling and meeting people from different cultures is a big part of my life. Easygoing, curious, and always up for exploring a new place, sharing stories, and meeting good people along the way. New to Couchsurfing and excited to give it a try!

Hello there, I am a friendly, caring person who works in the tourism industry at a local hot pool / spa retreat. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about the world. In my free time I enjoy working out at the gym, running in the forest, reading books, meeting up for coffee and watching films.
No bio yet, probably off exploring
Very friendly party loving guy, i love to meet new people. Travelling. Hit me up if wants to enjoy.
Back in the 70's my Scots parents would pick up hitch hikers and they would stay awhile, way before couch surfing was a thing. In New Zealand meeting, enjoying and sharing with new people and cultures has always been part of my life. Our grown up daughters one in NZ other in UK have 2 children each, love playing and doing activities with them especially in school holidays, which is why I'm over that way. We've been overseas a few times. I love to read, I dabble in arts and crafts, we spend time in the outdoors. I love exploring new places and talking with people. I can be self sufficient or happy to join in. We've had many people stay with us over the years from all over so I'm really looking forward to experiencing couchsurfing myself and being part of this community.
CURRENT MISSION to be a good osteopath and help people with their pains :) ABOUT ME Hi all! I am originally from Kiev, Ukraine. Most of the time from my birth I lived in Russia and Hungary. When I turned 12 my parents decided to come back to Ukraine where I lived till 17y.o. when I have made a life changing decision to move to London, England. I graduated from School of Business & Finance (audit degree) but I absolutely could not stand the thought of spending my life staring at numbers & constantly sitting… I did know I must change so I became a student of the British School of Osteopathy and am now fully qualified as a Masters of Osteopathy. I moved to New Zealand almost a year ago to work as an osteopath and I LOVE it! I also love interacting with people, am very easy going, simple, fun, loyal person who has a “common sense” and understanding of all different backgrounds we are all coming from. I value friendship more than anything – my friends can say about me: “I am a kind of friend – you call at 4am asking for a favour and she will do it without a doubt”. Love & Peace to all of you :) PHILOSOPHY Errare humanum est! we all do mistakes! so let's learn the experience we had and not to make the same mistakes again! I truly believe in Karma so am trying to be the nicest person to everyone :)
