Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I've lived in Minsk all my life but moved to Prague in September 2015, so you can count on me: *to show you around the city *to share tips about what to see & to do *to take you to my fav places for a drink or a juicy Czech meal *to travel around to places of interest outside the city COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE So far I've been a guest four times, spent a great time with people living in Düsseldorf & Vilnius & Rome & Barcelona and met several surfers in Minsk & Prague. A huuuge "Thank You" to all my lovely hosts, fellow travellers and surfers for the unforgettable moments!
Music, Movies, and Books
Upbeat indie rock for long drives and cold mornings Jazz music for meals n drinks with friends Ambient chillout, balearic for romantic atmosphere Latin American beats for dancing salsa which I'm trying to master now)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
The most amazing thing I've ever experienced was when in just 3 weeks 14 strangers became almost a family in a volunteer camp Read more about it here => http://bit.ly/1IKYtBs Another great moment during that camp was when I first found myself in the Alps, saw the clouds moving beneath my feet and felt as if I were on top of the world :) Check out our awesome group pic here => http://bit.ly/1AQQi4J
Teach, Learn, Share
If you feel up to it, I can teach you a little of all the languages I speak (at least, the survival minimum :) Or how to cook some yummy Eastern European dishes :)
My Interests
Well, travelling! That's why my profile is hanging out here :) Even a short trip to the countryside can be a great fun - as long as the company and the attitude are right. I enjoy immersing and deep-diving in the places I visit, blending with the surroundings and trying on the local lifestyle. In Russian there's a saying "It's better to see something once than to hear about it a hundred times" Well, I wouldn't limit myself to seeing, but go for touching, tasting and smelling until the 6th sense turns on :) Travelling is always about people rather than places. It gives me inspiration, strength and new emotions. People-watching is also curious, we're all so similar in many ways :) Also I'm always eager to talk about languages, creative writing, volunteer work, arts, dancing, bicycling and life
