Why I'm on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, to discover local specialities, and to show people my favourite places in town. Until now, I have surfed: 3 days in Edinburgh - very nice Long time in Wiesbaden ... don't ask. ;-) Film festival in Halle (Saale). Also, I am still here because the non-commercial alternatives are still very sparsely frequented ... so come and join them, and do not let your travelling be dictated by a company trying to make money out of people's freedom and ideas. The founder of Mitfahrgelegenheit once said, a community website such as this (MFG) can easily be financed by advertisement. It is just the commercial interests of companies that corrupt our freedom. I give critical lectures and workshops on minimalism, capitalism and advertisement. I can contribute some interesting and challenging views on the world, humanity and society ... "philosophy" is my second name. Also, I can teach German and English to you. Beside that, I am quite gifted when it comes to all sorts of technical stuff, in case you need anything fixed.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can contribute some nice and mostly vegan/vegetarian meals for dinner and good evening movies. Otherwise I am always open for a coffee or a chat. But even if you don't stay with me or I don't stay with you, we could still have food, go out and/or watch a movie.
My Interests
Dancing, backpacking, trekking, festivals, and movies ... I love movies! Also, lately I discovered the great advantages of materialistic minimalism and general resistance against established views.
