I love traveling and hanging out with fun/ funny/interesting people. Building good Karma by hosting when I can. After visiting 135+ countries I’m starting to write my travel memoir, which will include some insane travel stories. :) Currently Living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. (The amazing land of 10,000 lakes, people!) ABOUT ME I own a tourism company and guide for tours in over 150 countries! Check out my website here - GustoTrips.com My biggest passion (besides being a father to an amazing little 9 year old girl) is bringing others outside of their comfort zone on international trips. This is a big mission of mine, and I’m always looking for collaborators, local contacts, guides, or people that want out together a group in exchange for a FREE TOUR! I was an Assistant Principal at an IB Int'l School, and had a 10 year career in teaching Social Studies, World History, Philosophy/Religion, PE, etc. athletic coach. Taught a lot of elementary kids too just because they act more my age. LOL. **I actually enjoy diving into those taboo topics like religion and politics with other seekers. Earned my 2nd Master's degree so I can become a principal and start my own "non-boring" school some day. I love to laugh! Really enjoy people with a good sense of humor that are comfortable in their own skin.... It's inspiring. Sometimes I live inside my thoughts too much, but couchsurfing and traveling liberate me by encouraging me to connect to strangers in meaningful ways. I'm pretty curious and open-minded. For the most part I'm likable (at least I like myself most of the time). Striving to live at peace with myself and others. Love to travel with open eyes. Meet new people and gain new experiences and perspectives on life. Trying to give and receive kindness freely. Limit negative energy and promote positivity; while remaining authentic to the human experience. Libras believe in moderation/BALANCE and I am usually down to celebrate life by having a few drinks or taking in some night life. :D

One Amazing Thing I've Done
If the mood seems right, ask me to share a story about near-death experiences ^^ -Got lost in a lava cave on Easter Island... -Unintentionally swam with Amazon Alligators... -Crazy private parties in Saudi... -Climbing Kilimanjaro or Scuba Diving with Thresher Sharks... -or some of my more crazy experiences that I can’t post on here… 🫠
What I Can Share With Hosts
Couch, bedding, shower, maybe some laundry, a beer, maybe a dip in the outdoor hot tub in the backyard, maybe pick you up at a bus station, etc, RECIPROCATING KINDNESS is the gold standard, and always appreciated! Ways to do that? 1) Cook or order dinner. 2) Or bring a bottle of your favorite spirit / wine / beer 3) Offer to help out/share whatever. 4) If you learn anything about MN or my travels leave a review on Google for my tourism company :) 5) Make a suggested donation of $20/night to the refugee families/children I sponsor in Gaza! 🇵🇸
