CURRENT MISSION as the Tick advised, I'm trying to "squeeze the milk of life into my dirty glass and drink it warm". ABOUT ME I suspect that I have had an interesting life. [the jury is out on that one]. All I can say for sure is that IÂ’d rather have a boring, OR more specifically, calm life. ThereÂ’s a reason that thereÂ’s a curse that simply wishes one leads an interesting life. ThereÂ’s a reason itÂ’s a curse. Interesting is just that, you see. Interesting. ItÂ’s almost never good nor bad. Just interesting. I suspect that it limits the quality of oneÂ’s life severely. [as an aside; it is a commonly held belief that this is actually a Chinese curse but no evidence suggests that such a curse even existed. It's origins are definitely not from China though]. Anyway, where was I? all about me. i find that it quite hard to chat about me. I know who I am and i think i'm a pretty decent okay chap with the task/habit of trying to see people for who they are and trying hard not to judge by demographic features. [sad, that i feel i have to mention that - but it just doesn't seem to be the standard approach - hey! i'm a bit disillusioned with all the prejudice in the world.] don't want to sound like a regular greenblooded philanthropist but i guess subscribing to couchsurfing is my way of reaching out to see what the mindsets of people from other parts of the world are like. but i've digressed. jeez. i can yap. like i said: i'm a pretty decent okay chap. and who i am is hardly as interesting as how i've grown into who i've become. you're following me?? the journey man or err.. girl. the journey. it's been -for me- quite a ride. up down around stand still up down. know what i mean?! i guess i believe that the essence of life is to continually grow.. to better who you are all the time. i guess i'd have to add that i'd like to think that i'm a very sociable chap and quite easy to get along with. i'm too honest. need to learn some tact, and i'm (don't know what else to add).. you'll have to come down here and judge for yourself. I much prefer to find the humour in situations (which can be quite off-putting for others at times). but there are some things in life that only evoke 2 responses.. that leave you with only 2 choices.. to laugh or cry. i much prefer to laugh. I work in and own part of small IT company I have my own place.. with a couch! ;) and i'm sure couch-surfing will open the door to good experiences. IÂ’m only 28.. the future and death awaits.
