CURRENT MISSION Make art, friends, good food and explore many inner and outer spaces. ABOUT ME They would say that I am a wacky artist with a huge brain, possibly swollen. My friends would also probably mention that I am constantly striving to underachieve and succeeding. PHILOSOPHY My philosophy seems to constantly devolve. Eat, sleep chop wood and carry water would sum it up but we don't live in that world so of course I am forced to adapt. I resist as much as possible but as we all know it is a futile effort, for now.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Mostly hosting or hanging out and hiking with fellow surfers. I have yet to surf someone else's place but someday. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Hosted a few folks both in Hawaii and Alaska. I have also met other folks through CS and spent time adventuring around the Big Island. I have grown to be a huge fan of the whole experience. It has been great to get to hang out with folks from afar while showing them around the island a bit.
Music, Movies, and Books
Love books and music and have spent far too much of my life watching the tube.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
So many beautiful sunsets and sunrises, nights under the Aurora, and hikes in the fall woods to pick just one experience. Great aha moments in conversation over a fantastic home cooked meal.

What I Can Share With Hosts
Travel tips, a place to crash, an activities partner, tour guide, introductions to folks who are into activities you are into, smart ass comments and stuff. Great art you can purchase and who knows what.
My Interests
Artistic endeavors of just about any sort. I love music, books, theater and great movies. I love to meet new people and share a good conversation. I am a nature lover and landscape painter so it should go without saying that I am into the outdoorsy stuff.
