As I have settled into life as a homeowner, my ability to travel as much as I used to has been limited. I have returned to the Couchsurfing community to not only have a means by which to travel on a budget, but I would also like to host now that I am able to.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Being perpetually single and having a number of responsibilities at home makes travel a lot more difficult than it used to be when I was less tethered to a career. Finding the Couchsurfing community of like-minded adventurers makes travel more accessible and fun.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like any music (aside from country) that has a steady rhythm for long drives or jogging. I usually listen to a variety of informative podcasts every day. Favorites: Stuff You Should Know (so great!), TED radio hour and Freakonomics.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Taking my first cruise through the Bahamas and the Panama Canal was probably my most memorable trip
What I Can Share With Hosts
I dislike showing up empty-handed to anyone willing to host, so I'm always willing to pick up some food and drinks on my way in unless you prefer going out.
My Interests
I love being outdoors, whether it's taking a walk in the forest or exploring a busy downtown nightlife. I want to see it all! I used to love the saying "Go anywhere, do anything". Kayaking is one of my favorite pastimes, and have two of them that get a lot of use in the rivers and lakes surrounding the Hudson Valley.
