I love planning trips and exploring new places. I want to at least visit every continent, if not every country. I'd also like to live overseas and work at a scuba shop one day. Carpe diem. This year, as it is every year, my philosophy is to be less focused on always just saving money and more focused on seeing the world. Even though we can't host anyone right now, my boyfriend and I would love to hang out with travelers visiting NYC, so send me a message!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
In 2014, I couchsurfed for the first time in Bali and it was the best decision I made on that trip! My host was fantastic, and we had such a great time. Without her my stay wouldn't have been anywhere near as amazing. Fast forward to 2016 and I was actually a bridesmaid in my Bali host's wedding in Utah! Without Couchsurfing, we wouldn't have even ever met. It's all about making lasting friendships to me. I can't wait to meet more awesome people around the world.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love a huge variety of movies, music, and books. I watch most of my movies on Netflix at the moment, listen to rock and electronica-type music, and have recently been reading SCUBA biographies and series by authors like Michael Crichton and Preston & Child.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Watched a school of eagle rays swim over me from 80 feet below the surface of the ocean in Mexico. Stayed in a Buddhist temple on Mt. Koya in Japan. Got a Titanic tattoo in Belfast, where she was built. Dove in a flooded mine in Missouri. Hiked the Angels Landing trail in Zion National Park. Went on a bar crawl in Tijuana.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my knowledge about SCUBA diving. I would love to learn more French.
