Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Right now I'm not traveling, but I'd be happy to meet up with travelers passing through Davis COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I met with surfers for coffee while living in Spain in Fall 2007 (I was living with a host family so I couldn't host people). I couchsurfed a couple of times in Spain, and during winter break I traveled for a month around Slovenia, Italy and France and surfed a few couches.
Music, Movies, and Books
music: indie rock/pop, western Afro-pop, folk, some electronica movies: anything by pedro almodóvar, mar adentro, airplane!, everything is illuminated, hot fuzz, tais toi (in spanish: ¡Que Te Calles!), happy go lucky books: the mezzanine, guns germs & steel, surely you're joking mr. feynman
One Amazing Thing I've Done
In October 2007 I traveled with some friends to Salobreña, a town on the southern coast of Spain, for their annual festival. We befriended some locals and spent the whole day with them, eating great food and dancing the day away till the sun set over the Mediterranean.
