Hi everyone! I´m Barbora (Bára), grew up in Pardubice, currently working and spending most of the week in Olomouc. I´ve got a masters degree in Political Science but you don´t have to worry, I won´t bore you with politics at all. :D I am a Project Leader in an online start-up in Olomouc and I enjoy learning new things every day - that´s the best thing about working in a start-up I guess. I enjoy yoga, working out and eating good food, drinking czech beer and anything that contains peanut butter. (not in this order :)) ) I am a big human rights supporter, I love good music and original tattoos.

I am travelling with my boyfriend and we are both excited to meet new people to hang out with, share our experience and learn interesting stuff from locals! Since I live in a shared flat and my room is very small I am not allowed to host guests unfortunately. :(
Music, Movies, and Books
Music is probably the most important part of my life and I cannot imagine a single day without it. Powerful lyrics and interesting voice is what I´m looking for in a song. I grew up listening to Linkin Park and Placebo - very important bands in my teenage years and until now as well :)). I am open to all kinds of music though, since you can find Astronautalis, LP, Simple Plan or Lana del Rey on my playlist. I recently started to listen to electronic music and I just fell in love with Moderat and Justice! I am always reading something. Usually there are several books of all different kinds next to my bed. I love Franz Kafka, Haruki Murakami, Terry Pratchett, Stephen King,. I also enjoy books about history and politics - Timothy Snyder, Tony Judt, etc. Since I´ve been working in a startup, I´ve read some business books (only the good ones!) - Tony Hsieh´s Delivering Happiness is the best. I also listen to A LOT of podcasts when I´m travelling - Tim Ferris is always a good choice. I´m not much of a movie person but I have some favourites of course - Trainspotting, Star Wars, anything by Wes Anderson .. I love TV series - House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Daredevil, Punisher, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Stranger Things, Fargo..
