I am a curious, open minded, adventurous and active human being. I currently live in Berlin in a big community house and work on an initiative to mobilise the broad middle around climate change issues. I also run the Church of Interbeing with friends, a non-religious Sunday ritual in a refurbished church. I love bringing people together over food, being outdoors, dancing and cultivating reciprocal relationships with all of life.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
It's the best way to connect to locals while travelling and generally meet open minded people for exchanging, exploring, skill sharing and more.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music depends on the mood and environment. I'd say a mix of folk, acoustic, 'world music', funky stuff like 70s highlife/ afrofunk, bossanova, old school disco, electro.. Some films I really like include Closer, Leon, Garden state, Concerning Violence, Babel, The door in the floor, Was nützt die Liebe in Gedanken, Dreamers.. Books that I enjoyed: Wild by Jay Griffiths, Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Homo Faber by Max Frisch, Coming back to Life by Joanna Macey.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Spent a couple of days alone in the wilderness in the Catalonian Pyrenees, it was magical!

What I Can Share With Hosts
Yummy vegetarian food, folky songs and favourite poems, a Capoeira game, a Yoga session, or a coaching session. I'd also be happy to share my knowledge about community building, rites if passage and coaching. In return I'm interested in learning more about (medical) plants, sailing, playing the guitar, djembe and khora and being in conversation about what it means to be a human on this earth at this time.
