I'm Ecuadorian. Once a CS guest asked me the first time she saw me... where is your poncho?... and where is your llama?... (she looked dissapointed) that made me think for weeks about how much of my indigenous ancestors' traditions have I lost... and I'm still thinking about that... but I explained to her that it is not allowed to have llamas in my apartment because of the apartment policies, and I only wear my poncho on holidays. And she believed me.
