CURRENT MISSION to gain wisdom through the exchange of experiences with others. When I'm back on my little island home in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia, my house is always open to all travels and adventurers who pass through. But this year, I'm still wandering. ABOUT ME I'm a nomad, I have itchy feet, I've never been bitten by an animal and they always love me, I try to help everyone who crosses my path in any way I'm capable of, the ocean is essential to me, in surroundings of natural beuaty is where I think most clearly. People's stories intrigue me, not just because I'm a writer, but because I genuinely care. PHILOSOPHY I flow. That's the only way to describe it. Whatever adventure, whatever little hint or subtle clue life throws my way, I take up. I exist to experience, to teach and to learn.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've couch surfed, done housesits and hitchhiked all over the world: Hawaii, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, up and down the West Coast of North America, throughout Canada, Mexico, in Spain, Italy, England, Holland, Sweden, Turkey and Austria.
Music, Movies, and Books
I run a pirate radio station when I'm back at home, so love all music that moves me. I'm a book junky, too, used to read 30 books a week when I was a kid, huddled under the sheets with a flashlight until about 4 am every night, sleep a few hours, then get up for school. Movies need to be something unusual, I love the classics like Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Vertigo, On the Waterfront, Streetcar Named Desire, Cool Hand Luke, Hud, etc. Modern needs to have something edgy and real in it, I'm bored by Hollywood fakery with a bunch of explosions and no story line.

the written word, pirate radio, psychedelics, BURNING MAN, books that change your life, freedom, community, family and tribe, exploring uncharted territory...whether mental or physical, fire spinning, TRAVEL, drumming, people who are passionate about something, all things beautiful, pushing the limits, your innermost secrets, raising the level of awareness and enlightment in the world, MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC..especially higher conscious music, how things work, the science of astrology, meeting other street performers and exchanging tricks of the trade, learning something new...everything under the sun and most of what's under the moon, too.
