CURRENT MISSION I want to live life to the fullest - leave no rock unturned! ABOUT ME I am not sure that I can adequately describe myself. I am one of a kind - at least that is what was drilled into my head as a child. I am 5'5", with brown hair and green eyes. I grew up in a household with a father who is 100% Greek, a mother who is a bit of a Heinz-57 of heritages, and a brother who got all the athletic genes in the family. I pride myself on my ability to achieve and excel in academia. Anything else that you would like to know is only a question away - don't be a stranger! PHILOSOPHY I live my life because if I choose not to, I would miss out on so much. I live my life because that is what I was put here to do. I live my life to learn and appreciate. I live my live to love those close to me. I live my life to experience as many new things as I can. I live my life to make sure that I know who I am. I live my life, for no other reason than to live - and that excites me!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have not had any true couchsurfing experiences through this organization, but I have taken part in many homestays when I travel abroad. By far and away, these are the most interesting and memorable experiences that I have had while on the road.
Music, Movies, and Books
Ayn Rand, George Orwell, anything with music, but please don't make me tell you what the name of the song is or who sings it...I cannot remember that kind of stuff. I like believable scary movies and the kind of movie that leaves you sitting in your chair saying why didn't I think of that???
One Amazing Thing I've Done
One thing??? Wow, well I have been diabetic for 25 years now and consider being complication free as my number one accomplishment. I would be glad to talk to anyone interested in some of my trade secrets!!

I am a psychologist through education but I also have a background in the area of general construction, accounting, and business. My grandfather immigrated here from Greece and this influenced the way I was brought up immensely...so, I have a lot to offer, it just depends on what you would like to know.
My Interests
reading, animals, traveling!!!, computers, psychology, humor, walking, sail boating, people, friends, family...and just about anything else...If I have never done it then it is about time to try.
