Music, Movies, and Books
Favorites: Movies: French "new wave", Kubrick, and I can watch pretty well everything where the director seeks to say something original Music: World Music and Jazz.. but again there is not much out there I do not enjoy.. I particularly like "live" performance Books: One of my objectives is to "catch up" on my reading while travelling. I will be kept busy with the backlog of English Literature I have yet to read! Theatre; Yes, Shakespeare and contemporary (but in English)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Place: Alhambra @ Granada, Spain ... I know it is a easy choice but it IS the most amazing place. Performance: I could list some fantastic live gigs I am so grateful to have seen in small clubs. Just five of these might be worth a mention from my early years (1960's) Cream (Clapton,Baker & Bruce) Rolling Stones (when Brian Jones still with them), Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd (with Syd Barrett) and Roland Kirk (best of the lot!)
