I am a researcher and I work in the area of Marine Pollution. I was born and brought up in West Bengal, and had stayed in other parts (Bangalore, Chennai) of India for my studies. I recently moved to Halifax and happy to explore this place. I am an open-minded, calm and soft-spoken guy. I love traveling, hanging out with friends, having a good talk. I love to meet people, not just for the sake of meeting them but to really listen to them, know them, share a good time and to be with them in any need. That really makes me feel good. PHILOSOPHY My momma always said, "Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." FOR ALL THE TRAVELLERS All you should do, is get some money, pack some butter and pour some honey get your bottles and your dusty bags, forget all fears and stop living in rags take the train and go travel, cover the miles and kiss the gravel try some food but never be rude, take some selfie and be in the mood lights are blazing but still, you will feel amazing go out and feel it, meet people heal it music for all, and not just one people, put on your shoes and dance to the Beatles drink some wine, get some life and you will forget all your heartache and strife take your chances, follow your heart, learn to laugh and lose all fears look into the eyes with pleasure and by surprise, kiss the skies and go rise and you know life is a surprise with all despise discover new places and act humble with proud faces, dance to the tune as your heart embraces and then you realize how good a life can be with all the lovely people who always meet free it's a wholesome education, you are learning life and there is no explanation leave me not forever me, you are more than life and will always be Thanks to all the travelers for the sweet time we spent together keep traveling Zack

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
CS is one of the most amazing things that has happened to me during my visit to Europe in Oct' 13 and since them, I am in love with it. I have spent some of the wonderful moments of my life with people from CS. I believe we all are stuffed with good qualities and CS helps in extracting it. Human connections would undoubtedly be the most influential of all the action, you will leave behind for people to cherish, when gone from this miraculous perishable life, in a blink of an eye. This naked contact of mind nurtured with selfless loving-kindness is contagious, leaving a delicious feeling of human existence that will relish every fiber of your being. One Amazing Thing I've Done
I have met wonderful people during my travel, connected with them so well, and there where multiple times in my Life where I felt so happy that I don't mind dying at that time. To add to things, I have completed Vipassana meditation course in Nepal, did paragliding, bugee jumping, para-sailing

I enjoy all types of people, the silent ones, the party animals, introvert, extrovert, rational type, emotional fellas and the mysterious ones too hehe. I will be happy to help you in any way I can, just ask for it. "If you don't ask, the answer is always no" I can offer to teach how to make some Indian cuisine, the quick ones and the delicious ones too. My Interests
Apart from things which is obvious to take your time, I enjoy playing table tennis, cricket, watching movies, reading, listening to music, hanging out with friends and above all travelling... I had tried sky diving, river rafting, parasailing, jet skiing, go karting, bungee jumping. love to try other adventure sports, Scuba diving is on my immediate list.
