Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Couch surfing has been a fabulous way of travelling the world. It allows you to meet locals who give great advice on what to see and do and are always overly generous with their time and hospitality.
Music, Movies, and Books
Not a huge movie buff, but off the top of my head The Shawshank Redemption, Lock Stock, Hotel Rwanda and The Usual Suspects were pretty decent. Music wise I love a bit of everything (excluding country twang), but tend to lean towards the rock side of things. Some Favs are White Stripes, Muse, Wolfmother, Lior, Tool, The Futureheads, Elliot Smith. Most read books include Where the Wild Things Are, Cat in a Hat & the Call of the Wild.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Climbed a 6300m high volcano in the Peruvian Andes...friggin altitude really knocks it out of you. Was so exhausting I slid the whole way back down on my arse.
My Interests
Love anything that involves a board, ski or ball, either playing or watching. Going to gigs and music festivals are also a fav and I dont mind having a scuba dive now and then. Occasionally i'll even enjoy a dabble in the kitchen...but you can't beat a summer arvo beer & bbq.
