CURRENT MISSION To continue travelling and working abroad! Meeting lots of people and experiencing great things along the way! ABOUT ME I now live in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. I currently work for a women's weaving association and teach English! I have lived in Bogota, Colombia and South Korea also. I have used couchsurfing in many different countries and had some fantastic experiences. Staying in a hostel while travelling can be great, but staying with people local to the area can really change an experience! I love getting to know different couchsurfers and being shown a place from their perspective. Exchanging ideas and having great conversations about a variety of experience is what really makes it such a special experience. I hope I continue to use couchsurfing for a long time. PHILOSOPHY If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have surfed on various couches with friends in Central and South America and Europe. I have been so lucky to have had wonderful hosts everywhere I have stayed and really appreciated being able to stay with people who were local to the area. But I have also really appreciate the different couchsurfing communities I have encountered along the way. When arriving to Bogota, Colombia, I didn't know anyone and the couchsurfing community there is really great. I was lucky enough to meet lots of great people who became some of my really close friends while living there. It turned a huge and daunting city into a friendly place for me and I am incredibly thankful for that.
Music, Movies, and Books
Currently I am reading the Alchemist and loving it! City of God, A lot Like Love, Into the WIld. Documentaries! I love them! I am really open to music, while in Colombia I really loved listening to Salsa! My favourite song is 'Sube la temperatura - hermanos lebron'
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I went to Machu Picchu about 2 years ago and it was really beautiful, it was really worth the trip.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I think we can exchange great conversations and ideas about life! Just hang out and have a nice and relaxed time! I am not a big partier, however from time to time.
