One Amazing Thing I've Done
In Panama, on a small island, I celebrated the coming of womanhood with the entire village. The entire village was celebrating the girl's first period. This consisted of the village drinking its home brew all day, dancing and having fun. The town's chiefs would take shots every 15 minutes while playing a flute and dancing. It was incredible!
