Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have hosted and surfed and love it! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I first surfed in Toronto for a few days and really enjoyed it! I have couchsurfed clandestinely (in the sense that it wasn't inspired or arranged by CS) many many times and so I thank all of those who gave me blankets, pillows, coffee, wine, and conversation and are not recognized here.
Music, Movies, and Books
I just finished The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon and just started the Buddha of Suburbia by Hanif Kureishi. My favorite is White Teeth by Zadie Smith. I like the Taking Heads, Prince, Belle and Sebastien, Antibalas, Earth, Wind and Fire, Fela Kuti, Amadou and Mariam, the Bad Plus, Cesaria Evora, Mulatu Astatke, Geraldo Pino but I also enjoy learning about new groups Munyurangabo
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I have ridden on top of a bus through the Andes
