CURRENT MISSION I'm back in college (70's dropout!) and want to make myself better able to seriously make a difference during my life, which I hope will be long -- I'm very nutrition-oriented, and trying to live till I'm 120+ ABOUT ME Female, married, with a 24-yr.-old daughter, 18-yr.-old son, and 12-yr.-old daughter, who went back to school 4-1/2 years ago and who is now back at a 4-yr. university -- I was educated in England and am still very English, and I'm fine with that! Don't like the U.S. further education system, but know it's my own fault for dropping out so long ago. Love theatre, poetry and hamming it up! I also love travel (hitch-hiked around Europe in my teens and camped out in the Hindu Kush Mountains in Afghanistan before that poor country got blown to pieces!) Studying Spanish in a class full of 'hispanohablantes' so need to do a Spanish immersion thing in early June, and am looking for possibilities in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Looking for cheap flights there and back, too!! PHILOSOPHY I believe that the way the U.S. is going is dead wrong, and that they've transformed the care and concern of the world after the 9/11 tragedy into threats against Islam as a whole and have created a 'holy war' which has led to death and destruction which will never end until a man of wisdom becomes president of this country. Bush is the armpit of the world. I hate violence, but see no solution less than a revolution. Nonetheless I am a real softy -- I love kids, animals, the underdog (unless they brought it on themselves!!), hate guns, Charlton Heston, Bush, Cheney, others too numerous to mention, all who take freedoms away from the have-nots and support the have's who've been given so much that they value nothing, and denied nothing so that they have no feeling for those to whom everything has been denied.
