CURRENT MISSION To learn more about other people and let other people learn about us. ABOUT ME I am living the life I love...not rich by any means...but doing what I love and loving doing it!!! I paint and run my art business out of my home. I use to have a large art gallery and a studio away from home. Much better in many ways, but this makes more econmic sense and it fits my current lifestyle. My family is great! My husband is my best friend and business partner. Thankfully he has a full time job! We have three great children that currently are living with us and two dogs. PHILOSOPHY I am a dedicated Christian who believes every person has a right to choose what they believe for themselves. I do not shove my beliefs down other people's throats and as long as someone doesn't mock me for my choices I can respect others with different choices.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have never participated, but I know a few of the other surfers on this site, so I thought it sounded like an interesting concept, and signed up.
Music, Movies, and Books
I use to read all of the time...now I paint, watch T.V. or am at the computer...I love Francine River's books and many other authors as well, but like I said...it's been a while. I do enjoy any books relating to art also.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Wow, that is a hard question! What comes to mind is witnessing in my yard last year, the emergence of a cicada from it's shell and being able to really study it's beautiful translucent wings while they were still soft.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach art. I love to do plein air (landscape, on location) painting, so I would happy to teach someone about plein air painting if I have the time. There are times during the year when I am just too busy however and art is rather like music. You can't expect to become a master painter over night, but if you are artistic and want to further your exploration, I would be happy to give you a few pointers and/or take you painting with me.
