CURRENT MISSION to find my purpose ABOUT ME I am US born and bred. My parents exposed me to lots of different things as a kid... which was great, but also gave me some very expensive hobbies. Since I decided to become a social worker, I have also become creative in order to find ways of continuing my hobbies and experiences. I trade services in exchange for a place to live, which is why I can't at this time offer a couch. :( I teach skiing in exchange for a ski pass. Couch Surfing will fit in nicely here... although I think the experience of meeting people from all over the world, people who are different than oneself, is the most attractive aspect of this project. PHILOSOPHY I live my life for experiences. I would rather have a collection of memories down the road than a collection of possessions.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE A friend and I stumbled across Couch Surfing when we traveled to Argentina. Without a plan or place to stay for a few days, we were introduced to El Turco who gave us a roof and his own bed for a couple of nights. We were so impressed by his hospitality and philosophy... "Sometimes you just have to trust people."

One Amazing Thing I've Done
To be a US citizen in Australia on 9/11. It was an amazing experience to feel the love and comfort of the world's citizens when so far away from home.
