CURRENT MISSION Life is too short. I've been cloistered for 7 years studying, its time to go out and try it out. ABOUT ME How am I supposed to write this? Its taken me 26 years so far, and I still don't know. Mostly a student of life. I have so many fields my mentors don't take me seriously sometimes. But then, BAM something amazing happens.I like to party, stay out late, and meet all sorts of people. If I'm going to a new country, I want to do it like they do it. When in Kansas... PHILOSOPHY I repay in kind. You will be a more interesting person if you do interesting things and have amazing experiences. So do something cool. Whats the worst that can happen?

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: oh, its all over. if it has a good beat with or without lyrics, I can groove to it. Movies: I have an extensive collection of Bosnian war movies, foreign films, and indie hits. Then the blockbusters too. Books: Paulo Coelho, Neil Gaiman. Douglas Adams. Clive Cussler. Ayn Rand. I've just started collecting old academic books.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Presented at a seminar in Sweden. Walked through a ghetto at 3 in the morning to get to the train station 1 kilometer away. Met many, many new people I hope to meet again. Climbed the tectonic plates in Iceland. Took at 10 hour bus across the Panamanian isthmus.

I study animal behaviour, especially with honeybees. And insects. I can help with biology and the like, if you need help with academics. And I love conversation, I can help you with a midwestern american accent. Howdy.
My Interests
Oh. me? I'm interested in interesting things. People, languages and linguistics, traveling, rock climbing, martial arts, bees, clubbing, dancing, drinking, meeting wonderful people. Friendships that can last lifetimes. Also some fun touristy stuff, but off the beaten path.
