I’m a laid-back, open-minded, and calm person living in Basel, Switzerland, for almost 10 years now—time flies! Over the years, I’ve worked in a cinema and a second-hand shop, and I’m currently diving into the world of shiatsu and traditional Chinese medicine. I’m passionate about giving back to the community. I volunteer with an organization supporting undocumented migrants and at a local radio station, where I bring fresh sounds from the indie, folk, and electronica scenes. I’m also part of the amazing team behind Luststreifen, Basel’s queer film festival. I’m curious about the world and love diving into conversations about literature, movies, feminism, politics, and more. When I’m not doing that, you’ll probably find me travelling, camping, hiking, cycling, gardening, or just enjoying good food. I’m always up for meeting new people—whether it’s here in Basel or while traveling. If any of this resonates with you, feel free to reach out!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
CS has been the most amazing way for me to meet new people and truly experience the places I visit. I love to travel slowly, taking in the local smells, lights, and sounds while connecting with people along the way. Couchsurfing and workaway are often my go-to sources of inspiration when planning my next adventure.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
When I was 15, I crossed Germany all alone with just a little German—an adventure that was a huge step into my freedom and maturity. In my early twenties, I traveled to Easter Island, got lost in the words and world of Hermann Hesse, and slept under a starry desert sky. Those moments left a mark on me, and I still carry them with me. I also road-tripped through Québec, doing workaway along the way. It’s a beautiful coin du monde with warm-hearted people and, of course, delicious poutine!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help you learn some languages, guide you through a relaxing massage, or share a yoga session. Besides that… well, I’m a pretty good listener!
What I Can Share With Hosts
Experiences, a meal, a good talk about life and travelling...
My Interests
Cities can be fun, but I love being in the nature.
