One Amazing Thing I've Done
Hiked the Appalachian Trail in 105 days (summer 2009). I took a Mounted Archery training and learned to shoot arrows from horseback.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can start a fire with a bow drill, fell trees, sharpen and ax, carve a wooden spoon, shoot arrows from horseback, build trails, garden, howl like a wolf, sew, and knit. And then there's all the camping skills: map & compass navigation, outdoor cooking, tarp shelters, canoe strokes, knots, first aid, and other wilderness travel skills. I'm a former EMT. I would love to learn to sail. I'm also interested in learning Italian (I studied it in college but am very rusty) or Spanish, bicycle maintenance, and natural building construction.
