CURRENT MISSION To find a reliable person or couple to house sit at my country getaway. You can also spend a couple nights in my guest room or camp on my wooded 5 acres. Need someone to house/ pet sit in early Nov. for 1.5 weeks. ABOUT ME I'm a small business owner and I live on a small island in the Pacific Northwest. I have a great place to stay in the country on 5 wooded acres. I have a dog, a small parrot, chickens and a garden. I love photography, art, cooking, gardening and making new friends. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I'd like to find people who are looking for a place to stay for 2-3 weeks at a time to house sit while I'm on vacation. You can also stay on my 5 acres to camp or spend a couple nights in my guest room if you're blowing through town off of Highway 3. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've couch surfed once before on Kaua'i and it was great!

I love foreign films mostly and jazz music. I read a lot about nature, science, the environment and politics on line.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Been to the Hawaiian islands and swam with turtles and monk seals. Hiked several places in the high Sierras, all over Kaua'i and The Big Island. Some European travel, Baja Mexico and Japan.
