CURRENT MISSION To see a night sky with thousands of stars like the South Florida of my childhood. ABOUT ME I am innately curious, enjoy meeting new people, learning new things. I am tolerant of different cultures and religious beliefs. Will take time to look at the stars or a beautiful sunset. I enjoy a good sunrise as much as anyone, but am rarely up to see them. I am a night owl! PHILOSOPHY Live and let live. Treat others with respect and compassion. Dance like no one's watching. One Amazing Thing I've Done
Seeing the Grand Canyon. Watching the sunset over the Mediterranean from a hill above Malaga, drinking Spanish wine from a goat skin, with several young Spaniards, who serenaded us with their guitars! I was in the Miami International Airport for a flight back to Oslo, where I was living at the time. I was near a huge, unobstructed, west-facing window. On the distant horizon there was a very long, flat cloud formation. As it got closer and closer, it spread out into the shape of North America! You could see Florida. There was even hole in the cloud where Lake Ochachobee would be! You could see the Gulf of Mexico, Canada and Mexico! People came from all around the airport to take pictures. And the colors were magnificent, going from pink, to orange, to purple, and finally blue. The Most Amazing Sunset Ever!!!
My Interests
I like reading, playing on the computer, museums, art galleries, traveling to big cities(especially NYC). I have also enjoyed various crafts: rubber stamping, card making, scrapbooking, jewelry making, glass fusing, and other paper arts. I'm looking forward to a Collage Workshop in Seattle this Aug. (2012). I am also currently researching my family tree. While I enjoy people a great deal, I don't mind being on my own.
