CURRENT MISSION to learn more about people and their culture ABOUT ME I have been traveling around the world since 1962, having been to 141 countries so far and as of the summer of 2013 have been to all 50 states in the USA. I have been a host and traveler with Servas since 1995. My passions include dancing, traveling, sharing life stories with others of all backgrounds, genealogy, organizing reunions, collecting dolls and postcards from around the world, etc. I usually go away from early December through early April so I'm unavailable to host then. PHILOSOPHY Learning is the best fun; getting feelings out with a good listener are ways of healing so we can all live in the best of worlds and reach our goals. Violence begets violence and never is the solution to the problem. We all deserve better.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING by traveling and hosting, engaging in CS community events COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Started in Trinidad and several other Caribbean islands the winter of 2008-9, South Pacific and Australia in 2010-11 although I've been doing hosting and guesting since 1962. I hosted a CS potluck Nov. 2009. I participated in Couch-a-delphia, the 2011 and 2012 Philadelphia Couch Crash, hosting 6 the first time and helping others get from one place to another. What a blast! I hosted in Florida (winter 2017) and did a lot of Couchsurfing in South America during the (North American) winter of 2018... when I completed all the countries in the Americas!
