Since then, this question is swirling through my mind. I am a typical Chinese girl who learns about traditional merits. Mom taught me how to cook; father read Confucius about honesty and respect; teachers helped us how to distinguish the right from the wrong. Even my Chinese name: YA, which means 'humble'. My destiny can be seen clearly, the schools I will go , the jobs I will have and even the type I will marry. Is this the real me? Who I am, can I have my own choice about my life? So I am on the road, I traveled and learned a lot from other people as well as learned more about me. As a fact, I changed the track of life. I am working in France for luxury brand marketing, learning new languages and culture, meeting wonderful outstanding people. Yes I am YA, still bearing the Chinese traditions: enjoying cooking and reading Confucius, but at the same time I found out life can be bigger and higher with our ambitions and dreams.
