HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I met a lot of cool people in South America using CS. It was really useful in small cities with just a few travelers. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've hosted people and used Couchsurfing to meet other people in places like Ukraine, Belarus, Hong Kong, and Brazil.
