CURRENT MISSION To discover something new every day ABOUT ME I'm outgoing and easy to talk to, not judgmental and always willing to enjoy every moment. I´m from the north of Spain and I studied civil engineering in Madrid and also obtained a master's degree in construction management at Charlotte North Carolina,US. I started traveling at an old age, so I haven´t been in many places, as a consequence I am now trying to overcompensate for it and travel at any chance I have. I really enjoy meeting new people from different cultures and sharing experiences. I am passionate about food and cooking and the thing I always do when traveling is to try as much of the local food as I can :D PHILOSOPHY Enjoy life and don´t waste your time being upset. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I haven't done much so far. For different reasons I haven't been able to host anyone yet, but as soon as my situation changes I will have my couch ready for hosts. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have only had two CS experiences, both during the same trip to Scotland in 2011. Both hostesses were very nice and both experiences were much better than I could have hoped for. I also got to meet other couchsurfers and share stories and fun times with them. Overall it was a great first experience! I have been recommending all my friends who travel to use CS ever since.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have watched tonnes of movies some good, some bad, and some awfully bad... I really like classics like the Godfather. Also, I am a big fan of the first star wars trilogy, not so much of the second... I like directors like Stanley Kubrick, Akira Kurosawa, Coppola, Takesi Kitano and Tim Burton. I am also a big follower of different TV series, sometimes I think way to many... I am an avid reader, from fantasy and comedy to historically based novels. As for the music, I mainly enjoy two genres: Classic rock and indie music. It all depends on my mood at the moment. However, I listen to many different artists and genres from classical music to country sometimes. The main constant though, is David Bowie. It seems that he always has a song to fit my mood and to be my life's soundtrack.
My Interests
I love traveling and meeting new people from different cultures. I love learning, (don´t mistake it with studying,lol), and I would like to travel the world and get to know and see all the wonderful things that it has to offer. I also like to learn different languages, although I only speak two so far. I would love to be able to live in different countries for a while so I could learn the language from the people and not from an academy or a book.
