Cycle and hike for days in beautiful places. Jump into all sort of running waters -always clean, though. I've survived getting lost on the top of a volcano andegtting stung and bitten by all kind of insects. I have seen a black bear crossing a lake; a black bear climbing a tree and staying there for two days; A gigantic moose running on the highway; An eagle flying in front of our car, just at one meter distance -this kind of shit only happens in Canada. Many beautiful things.

Riding a bicycle in the city, mountains and long trips. Walking outside: the streets, the forests, the mountains; camping if possible; jumping into any kind of (clean) body of water. Exploring urban parks, better with beer and food! Travelling, getting to know people and communities. Reading fiction, when I get a break from academic literature :s Watching movies, especially at the cinema. Concerts, pubs, food, coffee! Social activism.
